Love this game, no pressure to achieve any particular goal but a clear path for progression is there and you can play it how you like. Would love a version of this game based on the UK but nevertheless, this still ticks all the train enthusiast game boxes for me. This game is, in a way, similar to Derail Valley but this focuses much more on the railway management side of it rather than a purely driving and shunting game, although with the online mode this can also be achieved. Progress updates from developers are detailed and welcome, if infrequent; the future for this game is certainly exciting! Can't wait for the MOW update!
one of the best train i play in years
GREAT!!!
.
A very enjoyable game that gets you hooked pretty fast on expanding your railroad. I hope they will be adding more Milestones.
Fun!
I like Trains
This game is amazing, been playing a ton recently. I Love company mode, but sandbox is there for the folks that want it. I recommend playing with mods, makes the game a ton more enjoyable. But yeah, should pick it up. It's not the top'est of tiers in train games, but it's certainty my favourite, and I can run it on my 1050 GPU (At good FPS), which is so incredible
i actually enjoy this game to be honest
There are a thousand train games out there of different flavors. Railroaders is the specific flavor I'm after. It mixes simulation and strategy in a detailed, small map in Appalachia. Instead of heaving trains at locations, you will have to pilot each and every car to its end point. Every day you need to gather what's heading out, and deliver what's coming in. In addition the industries in the area need fed with raw supplies. It's up to you to order the coal for the coaling towers, parts for the repair stations, and invest in your railroad and expand its reach. Run the trains manually or hire AI drivers (which do a generally excellent job). Railroader is also gettng a major update soon (Maintenance of Way) which will add another layer of strategy and complexity.
