Quantum Void

Atmosphere galore! A slow, fascinating game with an incredible setting and mystery that sucks you in and burns away the hours. So glad I decided to roll the dice on this one. Well beyond worth the price! Playing in VR but I’m sure it’s just as good regardless.

Suprisingly good game, more leaning to the story and exploration. Shooting and piloting ship mechanics are basic, mini games in terminals to get acces for some areas are clever and weirdly relaxing. The graphics are simple but decent, maybe adding some height maps on environment textures would further improve impression because use of lights and reflections is already pretty good. The music is great however there aren’t too many themes. Story and concepts are intriguing, game definitely got it's atmosphere right. It took me around 6 hours of playtime to reach one of the several endings and I enjoyed it, even though I got lost in a few places in space. It should run great even on weaker systems since it's not demanding on hardware and optimised. Played in VR on Pico Neo 3 Link, no issues there.

I have barely scratched the surface on this game so far but I can already give an honest opinion on the gameplay, and I do plan to continue playing. As someone that is not only a huge Horror fan, but an Alien franchise fan - I've always loved space exploration. There's a thrilling sense of "what else is out there?" that we get to experience in games and media like this. Quantum Void gives you a taste of that and so much more. You can tell this is a project made with a lot of love - and with TacNours being a solo developer that means a lot of time and effort and dedication was put into it (and from what I've been able to see, a lot of adorable critters have been featured as well). There is a clearly defined story, enough open exploration and discovery to keep the game moving, and multiple endings to give it some diverse gameplay. Though I was presented this game for free, I wouldn't have agreed to play it if I wasn't interested. And I wasn't disappointed. In my gameplay I primarily used a PS5 Dualsense Controller. If I was to give any "negative" feedback it would be that you may need to adjust the control sensitivity significantly more than you might anticipate. But for the first situation where it mattered I just grabbed my mouse so I didn't have to pause the interaction. As someone that doesn't typically enjoy FPS games, fret not - if I could manage the action sections so can you!

glad this finally released on pc so i can play it! i saw a bit of it from a wolf in vr, and just had to try it. love the whole atmosphere, it has a very nice feel. the puzzles are fun, they don't feel hard. the exploration is really fun, especially the nonlinear aspect and revisiting stuff when you have new "tools". definitely worth the buy.

This is the best VR game ever made, can't recommend this game enough it's god tier

Playing on Valve Index, initial impressions are very good. I love the look and the vibe, runs very smoothly and everything seems to work perfectly. I'll update this review as I go, but I think I'll have a lot of fun with this.... ..Also, plays great on Deck.

This is why I love VR! Super immersive and beautiful atmosphere. Really looking forward to diving right in and exploring the world of Quantum Void.

This is an awesome game if you are in to VR. I have not yet finished the game but I so far, I really like it. I can’t speak about the non-VR experience though. The atmosphere reminds me a lot of Alien, which I do like a lot. But this is not a scarry game. That makes is excessive for a lot of different people.
