Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.57/day in the week to Jul 30 → 2.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 7: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Gra miała pomysł na siebie i realizowała go wyśmienicie.
cool game but it litteraly has nothing to do with quake 1 but the gameplay
Great old game, with tweaked graphics but same escense than the original. Quake franchise have a identity crysis in every delivery since the beginning but still one of my all time favourites.
JOGAÇO 10/10 MELHOR QUE O QUAKE1
Quake II As a kid I actually liked Quake II more than the original. It felt bigger, more impressive and somehow more like a real game. Coming back to it now, there are plenty of shooters that do what Quake II does, but better. Still, the gunplay remains fun, and the soundtrack does a fantastic job of putting you in the zone while mowing down Strogg. The biggest problem is the level design. It's mostly one corridor after another, with too much backtracking and a level structure that often doesn't feel natural. Still a fun game and an important stepping stone towards Half-Life and Unreal, but it hasn't aged quite as well as Quake. The Reckoning This one is just boring. Too many tanky enemies, too many ambushes around corners and too long before you get weapons that make dealing with them fun. The new weapons and enemies don't really change the formula either. Not terrible, just incredibly forgettable. Ground Zero (♥♥♥♥ those turrets) The Reckoning already slowed the game down with its ambushes, but Ground Zero takes it even further. Huge levels, hundreds of enemies and turrets that make you play even slower. It constantly feels like the game is fighting against the speed of its own gunplay. Not necessarily broken, but easily my least enjoyable Quake II content so far. Quake II 64 Now we're talking. Smaller, tighter levels make a huge difference. There's much less backtracking, the spaces are more focused and the levels don't overstay their welcome. I also really like the new music. Halfway through, this was easily my favorite version of Quake II. Call of the Machine Some really great levels, encounters and set pieces here. I especially liked how every portal feels like its own little Quake II campaign, with its own ideas and atmosphere. Unfortunately, it also falls into the same trap as the older expansions: some levels are simply too big, too long and too full of enemies. When it works, though, it's some of the best Quake II content. Overall Quake II is still fun to play, but I think its reputation benefits a bit from nostalgia. The gunplay and music still work brilliantly, but the corridor-heavy level design, backtracking and frequent enemy spam have aged considerably worse. Interestingly, Quake II 64 ended up being the version I enjoyed most. Smaller and more focused levels suit the game much better. Still worth playing, especially if you want to see another important step in the evolution of the 90s FPS. Just don't expect it to hit quite like Quake.
A fun single player campaign, more like a Doom game than the original Quake, but with an eerie and atmospheric outdoor setting. I found it pretty frightening at the time, though this was in part because I have been careful not to harden myself against it. Where the game shines is in the deathmatch maps. The absolute best I have ever seen, tied maybe with the Rocket Arena 2 maps. They are much bigger than the Q1 levels, but still a little mazelike and occasionally claustrophobic unlike most of Q3A. You can play deathmatch in the campaign maps also, but the mainline q2dm ones are just the best I have ever played in. They are beautifully designed, intricately connected, and usually centered around some comically horrifying trap. The slower rockets and more or less instakill railgun make for longer and more interesting fights. The BFG in this game is also one of my favorite weapons, firing slow-moving ball lightning that requires careful timing but delivers dizzying massacres when you can pull it off. They did a nice job with the remaster. You don't have to edit your keybinds in a text file anymore. CTF is built in. There's a server browser and crossplay. Bot matches are painless to set up, but the game is never dead even in the middle of the night so you won't need them. A lot of extra maps are included and available for the map cycle. The only down side to this game is no NIN soundtrack, and the music that's included frankly doesn't fit the mood of the game, though it's certainly not bad and many will enjoy it. I suggest muting it and putting on some Alva Noto or Seefeel. In short - 10/10 - not the greatest FPS of all time but my favorite, and a near-perfect deathmatch game.
Juegazo, realmente no envejece mal y aun recuerdo las buenas que se armaban con mi hermano y mi primo en nuestra play 1 chipeada xD
