Beautiful game, everything from the music, art style, story, game play, mechanics and especially the characters is all so well done and very unique in such a way that I think this game is 100% heavily underrated. Even has the option to just conduct rites and battle without any heavy burden of a story, so you can actually continue to play the game after completing the campaign, aka replayability, which is rare with story games.
okay, by far this is my least favorite Supergiant Games releases. As usual, they always nailed it with the visual presentation, world building, sound design and BGM. But every other aspects in this game somehow doesn't really connect. The sports/basketball/MOBA mechanic is actually pretty.. fine, with some strangely difficulty spikes about last 1/3 of the campaign mode. Maybe there will be more interesting conversation if this released as a free to play live service game. I still recommend this game though.

One of the most unique games I've ever played. Probably Supergiant's most experimental game. You can always tell they're making exactly what they want to.

masterpiece
A combination of the visual novel and sports genres, the game presents an immersive and touching narrative with immense heart. While not every decision the player makes has an in-depth weight, the subtle shifts and responses give a more cozy atmosphere, which belie the grand marrative. The unique and utterly beautiful graphics (one can see how the game Hades came to be) provides a feast for the eyes. The gameplay is a tad bit hard to adjust to as more abilities come into the pictiure, but being able to master them makes for an engaging venture. At the same time, the game does falter a bit when it tells the player that many decisions or outcomes won't matter. They do not do so in the short term, but in the long run can hamper a player's ability to choose a certain outcome at a later date. However, that factor does also add to the game's replayablity value as the player may want to see what decisions they could have made and see other results in a future campaign. As a whole, a most fantastic and worthy game!
