Amazing story Masterfully crafted "choice-matter" design Awesome characters (I grew attached to them) Great gameplay Superb art, music and overall atmosphere Give Pyre a chance if you liked other Supergiant games. Although different compared to Bastion, Transistor or Hades, it has that charm all of these games have. 9/10 PS: Play till the 1st liberation rite. Regardless you succeed or not, you'll want to reach the next one!
Weirdly memorable game. Wish it was a bit shorter. Runs great on Steam Deck.

Great story, great characthers and great soundtrack. Supergiant, as usual
Pyre Weirdest sports game I’ve ever played. OVERALL - Good game. Would recommend to anyone who liked Supergiant’s previous games or anyone looking for a good story and a unique “battle” system STORY - 4/5 I thought the game did a good job making me care about the characters right away. There is an expansive world with a lot of supplemental text, but it isn’t truly necessary to read. I thought the choice to partially voice the character was actually a really nice touch. Then ending was pretty good, although maybe a bit underwhelming. Currently I have only seen 1 ending. GRAPHICS/ART - 3/5 I enjoyed the character designs. I thought they had a good variety, but they seemed to go together well. The landscape/world map was unique. It almost felt a bit abstract. Almost more like a painting than a map. But you could still get around just fine. I kind of wish they had a few more unique models during the combat, but I guess that would actually go against the theme/rules of the rites. There were some slow downs and choppiness during the combat. Was a bit unclear if it was intentional or graphical. COMBAT - 4/5 The combat/rites were very unique. Overall the system felt more like a sports game playing a team season rather than any sort of traditional RPG. Honestly one of the games that kind of comes to mind in terms of how it plays was NBA Jam or maybe Mario Soccer. The progression seemed impactful and the choices of masteries seemed like real decisions on how you played and wanted to use each character. Most of the talismans seemed interesting and useful too. Although I felt there might have been a few too many involving how much damage you do to the pyre. OUTSIDE COMBAT(World Map) - 3/5 Overall the early part of traveling was enjoyable. I liked the fork in the road system and how it was presented. I kind of wish there was maybe some sort of mini game that helped determine the extent of the reward/bonuses you got during those parts. After flying became available it was very fun to soar around the map, but after the 2nd liberation rite, I kind of wished the travel between stars was faster. UI- 4/5 Overall the UI was pretty good. I used the controller most of the time. I really liked how the dialogue was done. The red hover text that gave you a small description of any word that you might question was very helpful. Games I would recommend that have some similar aspects Banner Saga 1,2,3 Defender's Quest: Valley of the Forgotten Transistor
It's a wonderful game with a strong story and amazing characters set in an interesting fantasy world. The game isn't that long, but the amount of emotion, story, and tension Supergiant managed to cram into it is breathtaking. The pacing is great and the matches (fights) have never started to get repetitive (at least not for the entire first playthrough). The story kept me on my toes and every match was an intense experience. Glory to the Scribes!
재밌었다... 게임 잘 만들었다.
Pyre is that classic 'worst" entry from a studio that outputs nothing but the extraordinary. The "magical basketball" may deter some, but the game is much closer to Bastion and Transistor than you think, while dunking hoops is a real mechanic, the game also felt like an action game in it's core. The story, the art, and the music is also just as strong if not the strongest out of all SG's catalogue. It's the Supergiant game with the weakest sales and reviews, but this does not mean it is not an extraordinary game. Hades borrows heavily from it's design. You cannot miss that if you enjoyed that.
Great story, very unique gameplay!
Probably my favorite SuperGiant Games ! Incredible music, unique narration trough the game event (feel free to loose some match, it's make the story even better) It's a must play !
