Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I mean its literally what you see in the video. All the time, for all time. The negative reviews are just people who were too hopeful that there would be better gameplay, but in mother russia, game reviews you. 10/10 would send people to the gulag again, only bitter point is that the last achievement doesn't work for me.
I bought this game as a gift to ironically give to one of my friends. He had such an atrocious time that he decided to buy me a copy, along with the OST(Oh boy). Thank you so much. The loud music caught me off guard. I think it's one of the most horrible sounds I've heard in a while, but I might just be overreacting. You are shown a poor presentation of what seems to be like the Moscow Kremlin. You really aren't told what to do, but it isn't that hard to grasp since it's in the title of the game: you "take taxes" as a half-naked Putin. If you aren't already sold on this game, then I don't know what to tell you. You collect taxes from the law-abiding citizens and take the people who won't give taxes to the slammer. It gets tedious fairly quickly. But seriously, don't buy this game for yourself. The only reason this exists is to mess with your friends. Frankly, it's pretty much a crime to charge money for some flash game that's less fun than watching paint dry. 10/10 GOTY Would buy again

This game is not good. I don´t recomment it. very boring gameplay. very short game. no options menu. music is not good. *the 120 minute achievement* is not good, because the game takes 10 minute to have all others achievements. this game should be free. all achievements work.
EZ to get all achievements 100%
Got this as a gift from a friend and I'm not disappointed.
Is this what russia is like ?
In Putin's Russia; videogames play you. 2/10 you can get all but the last achievement in 10 minutes (the last one is 2 hours so that you can't return it wah wah) and I've yet to figure out if you can even get that 2 hours one playing other games over it or if has to be the main window open. Pray for me. I've played worse, but that says a lot about both me and steam. There is actual gameplay (which again, can't be said for all the shovelware on steam...) and variety in people you hassle and who carries what so you can't judge based on that alone.... and that's about it. You don't even get to go far out of the Kremlin. It's more like "Putin gets really bored and decides to go hassle random Russians like a schoolyard bully." Which, while fascinating political commentary, doesn't really offer much. Don't buy this except to torture your friends.
"Putin takes taxes" is not a real game, it's just a joke game that's been dumped on Steam as a cash grab with the hopes of going viral because it contains internationally wanted war criminal, Vladimir Putin. Trying to cash in on brutal dictators... that's pretty typical for the shallow end of the Steam store. This non-game has you guiding Putler around Red Square collecting tax and imprisoning people wandering around... it's just garbage. This game has been translated from some other language into English... badly. If this was done through Google Translate, Google Translate should feel ashamed of itself. Regardless, the language in this game is broken and will put off a lot of gamers. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. A choice was made to use obsolete, decades old retro pixel "art" as a substitute for contemporary PC graphics. It's unclear if this is due to lack of budget or talent, regardless, the overall visual quality of the game is extremely low as a result. While there are options to change the resolution for the game, all this does is scale up the simplistic 2D art assets used to make the game, which makes little or no difference to the graphics quality. Without any other substantial graphics tweaks, it's not possible for gamers to improve the lacklustre 2D visuals. The controls can't be customised, which will be an annoyance for many, but it can also render the game unplayable for differently-abled gamers, or gamers using AZERTY or other international keyboard layouts. These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game. The poor quality of this game is reflected by how many people spent time with it. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the all-time peak player number was only 3 players, and the worst part is these weren't genuine players, these were the Russian fake review accounts that the developer paid to make the fake reviews. Since the fake reviews are all done, now the only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 120 million gamers on Steam and well over 50,000 games for gamers to choose from (over 9,000 completely free titles), the overwhelming lack of interest in this low quality game is to be expected. It's also important to note the "developer" here has connections to a number of shady Russian asset flippers and review manipulators who show an organised pattern to scam and defraud gamers with fake reviews and asset flipping the work of others for profit. While reviews are about the games, gamers should be informed when developers act unethically. Whether these connections are the same developer using multiple accounts, or just working closely with other unethical developers, gamers should be warned about the harm to gamers by this developer and their associates. Buying games from unethical developers puts your money at risk.
Warning: Review Manipulation!
This game features a number of fake positive reviews from accounts known to be in the business of review manipulation/paid reviews. They're all written in either Russian or broken English, appear at almost exactly the same time, very shortly after the game launched on Steam, all have a direct Steam purchase of the game, and the accounts are used consistently to write fake reviews for asset flips and other cash grabs/scams. The "Positive" review score on this game should be disregarded due to this blatant, unethical review manipulation. This is done to deceive and scam gamers into paying for a bad product. "Putin takes taxes" has the scam price of around $5 USD, it's not worth it given the defects and shortcomings with the product, especially considering the unethical nature of the developer. Remember that if you buy a game from an unethical developer, you're putting your money at risk.
