Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 24 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This game has reignited my love of reading! It is a joy to decipher and appreciate the beautiful quotes. The cipher puzzle gameplay is satisfying and the background music with the crackling fireplace is soothing. After every cipher you can view a synopsis of the book, and I find myself wanting to read almost every single book! Every book is freely available on Project Gutenberg, which the game provides a direct link to, and my 'to read' list is growing quite large thanks to this game. I do have one gripe. After completing a cipher, you have two options: "Next Cipher" to go to the next cipher, and "Read More" to see a synopsis of the book and/or "check it out" (go to its Project Gutenberg page). I usually want to see a synopsis of every book, but from the "Read More" page, there is no "next cipher" option. You must go back to the main menu and click multiple buttons just to continue to another cipher. Unless I'm missing something.

I love playing this game, im addicted to playing it every day!!!
If you love literature and word games, Prose & Codes does not disappoint. It is a fun way to spend idle time instead of doom scrolling. You have access to read more about the works used in the puzzles and you get some excellent quotes to entice you about each work.
The studio cut the fluff and delivered a clean-cut gem here. Highlights: - Zero learning curve - no timer or penalty for using tips - accessibility settings - pick any genre and ignore others (for example, horror). - if a snippet draws your interest, you can heart it and later access the whole book for free through Gutenberg If in doubt, PLAY THE DEMO, your progress carries over to the paid-version.
It does exactly what it says on the tin and does it extremely well. If the screenshots look like something you might enjoy, you will.
It's as it says on the tin: solve cryptograms of public domain prose passages. The interface is reasonably frictionless. Should be particularly easy to judge whether you'll enjoy it from a few screenshots.
Prose and Codes is a standard cryptogram puzzle game, but the devs went above and beyond by creating a game that expands its players' literary horizons. Not only are the cryptograms sage quotes from novels, but each completed cryptogram links to its associated book online (through Project Gutenberg) for players to read and/or purchase. This game supports a wonderful project and has already inspired me to expand my own library. There are hundreds of puzzles to complete, and I have only completed one section with almost two hours in the game - so it is a great value at full price, let alone on sale. I highly recommend Prose and Codes to anyone who enjoys word puzzles, and specifically to anyone who appreciates literature. 10/10!
