About
One player. A whole football world.
Project Legend is a career simulator about a single footballer. You do not pick the lineup — you fight to be in it. One player's worth of decisions per season: the coach who does or does not trust you, the contract you sign, the club you leave, the country you play for, and the record you leave behind.
You only ever know your own numbers
Your player's attributes are exact. Everyone else's are a range, and that range only narrows as you genuinely learn more — a teammate you train beside, an opponent you have already faced, a target your agent has looked at. There is no omniscient database. You judge the squad you are competing against the way a player actually does: partly.
The coach is a person, not a slider
Every one of the 686 coaches has a profile, a preferred style and a temperament. Some give you one instruction a match, some give you three. They set training goals and name what they want improved. They put you on probation with a deadline. When your role is clear you play consistently — and when a new coach arrives and you no longer know where you stand, your form starts to swing.
Matchday has a place, a crowd and a referee
Stadium and attendance, the weather for that month, a referee whose profile really does change how quickly the cards come out, derby and top-of-the-table recognition. Claim the penalties, the free kicks and the corners — and carry the miss when it comes.
Every contract is a real negotiation
Salary, bonuses, release clause and squad-role promises, over several rounds. Your agent matters: the relationship you build with them decides how hard they push and how long the club stays at the table. The rejection risk updates while you type. A club that has made its final offer repeats it — press harder and you can lose the move. Bonus clauses actually pay out when you hit them, loan buy-options get exercised, and a Bosman pre-contract in your final year is a real path.
A career has an audience
An inbox from your agent, your family, your club and the wider game. Echo, the timeline where fans, bloggers and clubs talk about you — and where you answer them. The mood in the stand reads your last five matches. A kit deal with one of nine brands, from a regional contract up to your own signature line, with performance clauses and rivals trying to poach you. And a standing with the fans of every club you have played for, from favourite to villain.
The world keeps playing without you
686 clubs across 30 football nations — England four divisions deep — and roughly 23,900 players who age, transfer, break through and retire. The calendar advances day by day and stops for what matters: deadline day, a rumour that turns out to be true, a coach sacked at the club that was about to sign you.
From prospect to legend
Shot maps and player-of-the-match awards. Jubilee appearances and goal milestones. An analysis panel that sets your six attribute groups against the league benchmark. A farewell match at the club that meant the most. Play around 250 games for one club — fewer if you win things there — and you become its legend, and that legend outlives your retirement: your next career can begin as the legend's son.
