This is a very unique game that there is no “easy” mode for. If you enjoy forensic detective work, you’re gonna love this game. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HKl3YSj9Tao&feature=youtu.be This is a truly unique game where puzzles are not right in front of you, waiting to be solved. There is some digging required. There is no office assistant that will point you in the right direction. You need to find clues, figure out what to do with them, and uncover more evidence. Every door you open leads to a new door or maybe a window that is locked. But there is no straightforward linear path to get out of said room. I loved the unique and hard gameplay, but that may turn off some gamers that want an easy ride. If you enjoy a challenge, a deep game, and a weird story, give it a shot. Note: this is an adult game. Adult language and themes throughout. If off putting language is not your thing, don’t explore the Deepweb! P.S. great music!
it is an absolute crime that this game has only 13 reviews as of writing i was totally unfamiliar with project deepweb, but found this game when scrolling through new psychological horror games. i thought i'd get a fun, maybe 2-4 hour "explore the creepy deepweb" game. boy, was i wrong. i'm 17 hours in and i feel like i'm at the tip of the iceberg. i am completely blown away by the quality and quantity of gameplay and materials in this game. it feels totally smooth to play, and isn't JUST a click-around-on-the-desktop game. there is voice acting, live action recordings (including a phenomenal, disturbing, dark web-themed live action "livestream" you get to watch), real life code breaking, a fascinating hidden story, and even some random "minigames", for lack of a better word. there are dozens of hidden secrets and content. to this moment, there is unsolved content in the game that the community is trying to solve. you get different interactions with different characters based on at what part of the game you talk to them. these interactions lead to more mysteries and more uncertainties. playing this game feels like solving an ARG that was made for you specifically. you truly feel as if you are in the protagonist's shoes and are going crazy yourself as you try to wrap up all the loose ends and get lost in a seemingly never-ending online world. you never stop asking yourself, "is this it? the final link, the final mystery solved?" the answer, always, is "no." if you like deep dive games that involve light scares, unnerving storylines, endless information you can choose to ignore or absorb, unraveling a mystery, and extracting valuable puzzle pieces from text, this game is for you. this game is like if welcome to the game 2 was good and you didn't have to deal with the IRL stuff. speaking of IRL, this game ties into your real life -- you, sitting at the computer, not the protagonist you're playing as -- in eerie and unexpected ways. i still get shivers thinking about some of the IRL aspects included. if you're clever and brave enough, it may even enter your IRL life in ways you would never, ever expect from a video game. please play, and please join me and others in going insane over the endless mysteries. we could use the help!

An excellent hacker simulator with a horror atmosphere. 13 IP addresses hacked out of 10
What would the dark web be without casinos? I won $9,223,372,029,921,256,715 in just 20 spins. All that's left is to steal the card info to transfer the money to my own account. ⠀⣠⡤⡀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠠⣇⣠⡧⠖⠒⠒⠛⠛⠒⠒⠒⠢⢄⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⣀⣀⣀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⡦⣇⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠈⣇⣀⣀⣀⠤⠴⠂⠉⠀⠀⠀⢹⠀ ⠀⠀⠇⡏⡇⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⢸⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⡇⠀ ⠀⠀⢸⢠⢠⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⢸⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⢰⠁⠀ ⠀⠀⢸⢸⢸⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠘⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⢸⡀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⣦⡿⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠆⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠙⣄ ⠀⠀⠀⣇⡇⣀⡤⠤⠤⠖⠲⡖⠢⢄⡔⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⣀⠤⠒⠒⠙ ⠀⠀⠀⡇⢸⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠈⣇⠊⠁⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⣀⠔⠋⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⢸⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠳⣀⠀⢀⣀⣀⠴⠊⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⢸⠀⡆⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⢸⠀⡇⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠘⡀⡇⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⡇⢰⡀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⢸⡁⠀⡹⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠉⠉
Lowkey the most bizzare and disturbing game ive ever played, if you like reading this game is for you...there is ALOOOOOT of reading here if that's what honestly interests you.
Really fun horror game with a great atmosphere and a unique DeepWeb theme. I really enjoyed playing it and I’d definitely like to keep playing it. I’m looking forward to seeing how the game develops in the future. Definitely worth checking out if you enjoy indie horror games!
A great web exploration game where you can definitely feel the devs had a lot of fun while creating it and throwing together ideas. It really had been a while since I had a game in this genre, where at some point your brain kind of fries, trying to keep up with all the information (in a complimentary way :D). My only personal gripe is that the note function in this game is not as well implemented as in its predecessor, since when you copy paste text, you can't use the "enter" key or else the note gets created and you cannot modify it afterwards. This makes it difficult to put more descriptive text to e.g. links other than mark it as a "link".
An old-school late night doom scroll through a fictional web 1.0. Awesome, transportive experience. My eyes hurt from all the txt files. Unsettling and nostalgic. Cosmic horror of the internet type ♥♥♥♥. I do wish there was a more robust system for note-taking and file organization.
