You don't need other tables. Best pinball table ever made no discussion. The 4k upgrade is awesome thanks. And nice to hear the music again nostalgic.
Hard to beat in the simulation chapter. Very nice laid out gaming plan, still making fun after 25 years once in a while.

This is a seriously impressive pinball simulation. It's hard to believe this 10 year old game looks and plays as nicely as it does, and offers a cabinet mode (tip: add "m2" to the game's launch option to allow the backglass/dmd on a second monitor) that is arguably as good than the leading pinball game on the market. The materials and lighting modeling on the table is excellent. Unfortunately the game is largely abandoned, and no new tables will likely come to it. I am happy just to have the single Timeshock table, with the care and attention that's been poured into it. Note that your selected view mode(s) and graphics settings require a sizeable download from the developer's server in order to play. This could be a potential issue for the game being supported inthe future.
More of a download simulator than a pinball simulator. After installing the game on Steam the game needed to download extra files FOR EVERY CAMERA VIEW of the pinball table. Sounds ridiculous but tolerable, right? The issue is that the files are downloaded from some unspecified server outside of Steam... And the downloads are INSANELY SLOW, taking up to couple hours. I literally spent more time in this game downloading additional files than playing pinball. And what will happen when the developers close the servers for these files? I am not optimistic because the game has not been updated since 2016. The upside is that the game is actually good and fun, very playable and in line with the other Pro Pinball games from the 90s (only available in a competing digital store). So if you like pinball very much and don't mind running those extra downloads in the background, why not? Pro Pinball always worked better for me than Pinball FX: the tables are easier to understand, the design less flashy and more readable. But yeah, buy it at your own peril.
Bester Flipper ever!
For my first few years of becoming addicted to pinball this was the only game that felt realistic enough to hold me over in between trips to arcades. Now years later while owning a real machine, it's fun and addictive enough that I still find myself coming back to it. It is such a stark contrast in quality compared to any other virtual pinball on the market. The game is gorgeous, the lighting immersive, it's sound effects are satisfying, it's soundtrack memorable and catchy, the callouts quotable. The ruleset is a great balance of being approachable yet incredibly in depth, and the layout is just fun to flip. It's everything I could ask for from a pinball machine and more. That being said the game is very challenging, it's not easy by any means but that's part of why I love it so much, I would attribute a lot of my early skill in learning the basics to it's difficulty, it may also just be preference, I tend to gravitate towards shot making games over flowy games. Although that may be a product of this games early influence on me, who knows. In the pinball hobby many people talk about their "dream themes", usually big licenses like movies or shows that is their all time wish to be turned into a real production game. This is mine, the game oozes so much charm that I would buy a physical one in a heartbeat and I really hope that day comes. It's virtual pinball that's incredibly immersive and has the best emulated ball physics I've experienced. It's very sad that the devs seem to have abandoned this project, I would love to see more tables added to this in the future, or better yet if someone could make a production run of this game please and thank you. :)
