i gotta say, this is a weird one. but delightfully weird. laser dreadlocks and insect guns. hell there is basically a pet attack insect. overall id say its worth the trip and heres why. so at first i bought this game and sadly had to refund. it was just performing awful no matter what i changed. so i refunded and came back months later to find there was massive progress with some big updates. these addressed alot of the performance issue and added options that a vr game needs. so i figure i give it another go. Pretty.... oooo look at that..... whats that over there! this is how i felt, constantly glaring at the marvel and interesting world. alien worlds usually have sort of that impact, but all the bright colors and animated scenery sticks out, and the lush enviroments place a backdrop to some ferocious head eating. i would find myself staring at my pistols and being amazed at the fact theyre not only alive, but they feel like theyre alive.like if i called them a name it would hurt thier feelings. this game is a drug for the eyes and even a VR vet like me cant deny its beauty. there are some negatives. 1st being that as much as it wants its combat to be brutal and satisfying, it often ends up boiling down to slapping whatever club or sword onto there head. there are mechanics in place here such as armor and some dismemberment but they all fall short and dont accomplish what was sought after. battles get chaotic quick and i often felt as if i wasnt in control of anything, just slapping my arms around flailing in all directions, accomplishing nothing, then deciding to end it and just chopping down on thier head agian. this was dissapointing becuase theres a slow motion mechanic that i would have loved to use, but it never triggered when i needed it, and if it did, then by the time i got in range of the enemy it would end.(becuase sometimes its hard to not be on top of or too far away from your enemy) gun play seemed to fall into this same cycle, as there was unlimited ammo and you just pull the trigger, which for me i bore of quickly. there is fruit to be ate and even stored in a inventory pop up selector on your wrist. along with other items and consumables. also a huge part of sword combat is swing the sword hard to get it to glow to make it do hard attacks and well.... do damage for the most part. this works a few times but gets old quick as im strong but throwing my arms out before i even attack is a bummer. BUT i do reccomend it. why you ask, becuase it does do these things. even if they missed the mark they are still implemented and will make you think some about combat. but the real reason to buy is the visuals. if you want to explore a beautiful alien world in VR i would say give primordian a try.

crap game
+Still being updated +Interesting concept +Decent battles +Decent narration -Get hurt all the time during fights for no reason -Extremely dark -Price for game that's not released/finished -Controls are meh 3/5 It's a good start to a game that might end up really great. Though I feel it's too dark. Not as in too gruesome, but just, it's difficult to see almost anything. The controls are sub-par and need serious tuning, movement needs to be able to go by either hands or head. I'd wait until this gets finished or gets put on sale. Dommage, le coté film "predator" me bottait bien.
Linear type game play but very beautiful in VR. The combat isn't very challenging if you are used to other combat simulators in VR, like Tales of Glory or Blade and Sorcery. It's still fun in an arcade sort of way. The only negative thing I can think of is that the avatar will move where you are looking instead of following the direction you are pressing on the move stick. In the short time I played I can say I'm happy to pay the 50% off sale for the game. If it wasn't for these indie devs VR would be dead. Thanks indie dev : )
A thrilling and immersive world that surprises you at each turn. Incredible visuals, compelling music, and really unique combat with a variety of never-before-seen weapons. When you enter Primordian you're adventuring into a completely original and alien world. We loved it and can't wait to see it evolve.
Unplayable with wmr; only touchpads...
🤣 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DvhDg8gQH04&list=PLtO__edOGvQYRSxid8Itu1iFlFQir2Gpz
