Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Jul 24 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Primeval: A Persistent Prehistoric Sandbox
Play as one of 67+ dinosaur and prehistoric species — from hatchling to apex predator — solo, or on servers holding up to 150 players, with progress that carries over between both.
One World, Two Ways to Play
Grow a hatchling to adulthood safely in single-player, then bring that same creature onto a 150-player server to hunt, defend territory, and build a legacy. Retreat back to single-player any time for a session with zero lag and zero raids. Growth, talents, and stats carry over either way.
A Full Life Cycle
Start as a vulnerable hatchling and grow into an apex predator, earning evolution points to unlock talents and traits that shape how your creature plays. Build nests, gather resources to strengthen your brood, and hatch the next generation.
Coordinated Pack and Herd AI
Herbivores form defensive herds. Predators hunt in coordinated packs. It's not a world of animals wandering in circles — creatures work together, the way they would have.
67+ Playable Species
More species than any other dinosaur survival game, spanning land, sea, and sky:
Apex Carnivores: Giganotosaurus, Spinosaurus, Allosaurus
Heavyweight Herbivores: Argentinosaurus, Triceratops, Ankylosaurus
Marine & Aerial Terrors: Megalodon, Tylosaurus, Quetzalcoatlus
Unique Prehistoric Wonders: Anomalocaris, Titanoboa, Dunkleosteus
Built by One Developer
Primeval is built and maintained by a single developer, with regular updates adding new species and mechanics.

this game cool i like how the dinosaurs act like players when singleplayer
Graphics are so good that they make me lag even on the lowest settings. Couldn't figure out how to play or do anything, probably because I didn't read the tutorials. It was a pretty game but uh...kind of lacks any real sense of purpose. I swam around as the God Born from the Helix Fossil for a while and then alt+f4'd and uninstalled, wasting a lot of bandwidth.
On the store page, it used to say "No lag- no griefers, just survival." and all 3 of those are big, fat, LIES. Lag, it lags so much it feels like I'm running it on a calculator- 24 FPS at estimated best. This game used to be shelter from other dinosaur MMO's, so now that they released multiplayer, they have become the MMO. And the game is soooo glitchy that it rarely lets you drink or eat and if it does it takes so long to become full so survival right after hatching is almost certainly gone, even at a massive size, it's so hard to get a kill on other dinosaurs, if you do, the victory is short lived. Bad game at the moment, in this state it is NOT recommended. >:( PLUS, as a hatchling as a flying dinosaur, it takes forever to grow up to actually fly instead of reaching 4 feet off the ground. Also very little variety of skins. Like I said, right now it's bad, and I looked at the community posts and only really saw 3 individual people actually playing and posting stuff. Maybe when it's more developed it will be worth more than 15 dollars. Because at this state it should be FREE.

I really like it:) Its definetly worth that 3 dollars.
no way to save progress i left for 30 seconds to the main menu to check something and went stright back to hatchling when i had just gone up a growth phase
------2026 March------------- I can´t enjoy it because I can´t use a gamepad, I wrote about it a year ago to the dev but it does´nt seem it will come. I can´t leave a positive review now since I need a gamepad to enjoy it. If those things are fixed I will change it to a positive. + A lots of new Dinos and others and constant patches coming - Input to change keys in game still bugged in mainmenu - Still no gamepad support ------2025 February---------- + Very friendly Dev I know he is waiting for some sort of assetpack or similar to be used with his game, but it hasn´t been released yet. He is dividing his time with the developement with a new non dino game and playing piano but I still got hopes for gamepad support and that the multipayer will get back even though I get my Dino PVP kick from Path of titans allready. Still I do recommend it but for I can´t say I enjoy it anymore since there is no gamepad support. But I´m following the project and hope it will feature gamepadsupport and more options for the graphics. When I play dinosaur games now its: 1. Path of titans 2. The isle of Yore 3. Saurian 4. Primeval. + Lots of dinos - Few updates. There was a patch in October 2025 and now 2 patches in Januari with a new dino. - Fps 30-32 - Bushes and leafs from trees move at x2 speed. - Gamepad is not supported anymore it seems - Extremly limited options to increase FPS in the graphics options I have win10, RTX 2060 6GB, 24GB Ram, i7-6700CPU 3.40GHz. It´s not a strong computer but I can play Path of titans maxed out and also The isle at better framerate.
игра похожа на айл но чуть чуть похуже так то норм
it won't work
es hat vlt die ein oder anderen bugs aber dafür das ein indie game ist ,ist es mega gut,es gibht viele dinos "fische" etc zur auswahl und auch geile maps. Was mich freuen würde ist wenn der multiplayer mal rauskommen würde
I love the game but i am going to point out bug first so that you can fix these. bugs 4 out the 5 times i hit evolution i exit out of the tab and i can only do these thing main menu, options, attack, rest, and eat. only worked with my Spinosaurs the other 4 was with land dinos. With the quezulcalatlus if i landed i couldn't walk or glide again. if you click on multiple dinos in the seletion screen it will crash, found that out trying to compare stats opinions I couldn't get Spinosaurs under water but he could get into water after he died. mabye i dind't do it right. with those these 4 things in mind i still love this game a lot it is pretty good. i say it is worth 2x it is amzing and you will lose track of time. thanks for this amazing game.
