Один из лучших проектов иммёрсив симов на данный момент. Жаль продолжения нам не видеть, но даже так пройти её однозначно стоит. Концовка у игры - моё почтение.
Took two attempts to stop being scared of mimics, but eventually Ive stared enjoying it all. Best part is when you have enough access and abilities and upgrades to not being stuck too often, but still getting challenged from time to time by not directly accessible doors, rooms and so on. Love that the game gives you a ton of freedom. It doesn't tell you what to do with the character, even if he's main Quest one (sorry Alex, not sorry Dahl). Some side stories like impostor one are very cool and enjoyable, some felt like boringish usual quests. Loved how ending choice is handled.
Superb
this game is too underrated, really good replayability for a singleplayer campaign game and really awesome gameplay details. Its a damn shame that microslop killed arkane studios like they killed many others
Great game
Prey is an awesome experience for sci fi and survival fans! There's a lot it does right, and it's well worth a thorough playthough or two. + Play your way: whether you prefer stealth or aggression, a challenge or casual, weapons or numerous different abilities, you can approach things however you want + Plently of optional objectives around the entire station and little secrets and lore to find + Exquisite sound design, solid graphics and art direction + Well paced exploration and upgrades/fabricating + Choices with objectives, characters and neuromods affect your experience and ending - Rarely, there will be long freezes or bugged held items, stuck enemies or broken objectives. Easily fixed with a restart - Areas are split by doors with loading screens, which can be tedious late game when you begin to travel around faster. It breaks the pace and the otherwise strong illusion of a cohesive station layout. Keeping player control with a slow door or transition room would have been much nicer - The tone and pace of the endings + post game screens is abrupt and weird. It makes finishing the game feel a little plain. Multiple endings is nice, but the overall feel is sloppy. I'm personally a huge Alien Isolation fan and enjoyed Prey as a game in a similar-ish vein, albiet with more freedom and elements from other popular survival/stealth singleplayer FPS. If you enjoy optional quests, being stuck on a space station with creepy robots and collecting scraps to craft what you need, then Prey will give you many hours of fun. 8/10
Love it so far right now, I remember watching Markiplier play this game when it first released, feels like a dream that I get to play it myself.
Overall I recommend it. Probably one of the best (and maybe last) immsims we're going to get out of Arkane or anyone for awhile. I did find the story to be a little eh and the game is not connected to the original Prey in any way. Those are my only real complaints. Try to go in blind and have fun.
great game with unique story and settings i hope they make another one soon
