PK has easily become the best prehistoric park builder out there, and dare I say the best prehistoric game. While still in early access, the creatures and their interactions feel so real and completely natural. U17 was the cherry on top, with not all combats resulting in death, mating season related sparring for interspecies, and sauropods NOT being walking kabobs. I truly look forward to seeing more updates, and fleshing out some of the kinks, particularly with guest amenities, (we need more!). But I have complete faith that version 1.0 will bring us all that we've asked for.
I've logged almost 50 hours playing Prehistoric Kingdom on my hubby's library and decided to buy my own (very unnecessary) copy just to support this project. I was hesitant to get too attached to this game because of past experiences with early access games flopping or quietly fading away, but they have continued to make progress and release updates. Many of which include actual quality of life upgrades, new species and mechanics, as well as fixing existing problems. I'll admit, it wasn't much when it was first released, but I am obsessed with Prehistoric Kingdom now. So far, my favorite experience has been creating a herd of gentle giant sauropods (Argentinosaurus, Apatosaurus, and Camarasaurus). It's glorious. Anyways, I'm here for it and excited to see what they do next.
Sank a ♥♥♥♥ ton of hours just building an entrance. Good game. Dinosaur models are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ beautiful. Some performance issues tho but its slowly getting optimized with each update
Bugs, Bugs, Bugs. Creatures in vivariums cause keepers to get stuck in a infinite "low food" glitch, meaning your keepers are draining cash to do the same task for only one vivarium over and over. Creatures you research don't show up in your nursery so you can't even place them in your world. Uninstalled. I wish I could request refund, but Steam won't let me because it took this long to get through the crappy long winded tutorial. Not worth the money.
Poor optimization, on a system above the recommended 40 fps with FSR, the graphics are also lame, in the first JWE the graphics seemed nicer, the only plus is the realism
