i want to get power boat better performence
Hello virtual Mariners, I have been a huge fan of Nautical Simulation, since way back on my old Windows XP machine. I sill own (as that PC) VStep's Ship Simulator 2008 and Ship Simulator 2008 Collector's Edition, both on DVD's. Later on came Ship Simulator Extremes, European and World Ship Simulator, via OS Windows 7/64 Professional. I was fortunate to have practically no technical problems on Ship Simulator Extremes and the others, simply because of my O.S is still on stable W-7. Maritime Search and Rescue and Ship Handling Simulator came afterward. Which brings me to my latest discovery, of magnificent Powerboat VR. Must specify that yours truly, is not in VR mode for PBVR. The dedicated Developer Jimmy Arcade Limited, is very focused on the smallest details. That's why this simulation (not a game in my book) is so close to reality. The immersion factor navigating in free play, or managing fuel, ballast, loads of cargo, or transporting passengers, is just like the real thing. I must point out that while in Free Play, I got caught by significant swells on the open sea. After a few minutes of this washing machine cycle, I was close to having seasickness and reach out for some well needed Gravol in my bathroom. The simple solution to stop this uneasy feeling, was to drop anchor and stop the engine. Just enjoy the sights and sounds (near a buoy) for a few minutes, and you will be fine. This overall feeling is a huge testament of the ever so important, immersion factor. Since I was never afflicted with air, ship, and ground travel issues, this is quite impressive indeed. I had the privilege of being part of the certification process (Beta), to test and confirm the compatibility of Windows 7/64/Pro. Jim the Developer, was extremely available and lightning quick to apply modifications. A true reference of picture perfect technical assistance. He even added some of my suggestions without hesitation. The rhythm of updates, are the proof of this dynamic progress that went through, as days and weeks went by. This Developer has set the bar sky high, to anyone who wants to duplicate this quality of customer support. All these efforts by all concerned, have permitted the access of a very handy guide, available on it's Steam store site. I strongly suggest to all virtual Captains, to read and study this indispensable guide. Having partially owned a semi-inboard Chris-Craft sport boat in the early 80's, the price of purchasing PBVR is practically loose change in comparison. Money well spent for sure, without the steep cost and responsibilities, that entail boat ownership. I almost forgot to mention, that my trusted wired controller/gamepad Thrustmater GPX LightBack and Logitech F310, are fully compatible. In my modest opinion, controllers are indispensable for the full enjoyment of this awesome Nautical simulator. So long fellow virtual Captains.

I have a 3060 yet the framerate was choppy and around 15 fps. Also not much to do and there are many bugs.
its not working on quest 2
I can’t say enough, I love this boat sim/game. The waves are intimidating when you’re on a small boat. The realism is great and on my rig now with i9 and rtx2070 to it runs great. I do have some crashes but it’s expected in early access. I highly recommend it to anyone that wants to practice power boating or just to be on the water in those winter months. Keep up the great work!
Una pasada de simulador, los giños y pantocazos de los barcos se sienten muy realista en VR, que lástima que este juego este abandonado, daría lo que "fuera" por un DLC y mejoras por este juego, un 10.
