Demo for Power of Ten, a single star fighter trying to save as many civilians as possible before they are overrun by a marauder armada. You'll need to gather new weapons, upgrade your ship, find resources, trade with other ships and more to overcome the challenge before you.

An amazing game, you wouldn't be able to tell that it was a demo! A handful of different ships you gradually discover through the game, an wide array of weapons/abilities/traits to select from. Beautiful pixelated action with diverse enemy encounters and battle settings. A promising show for the to-be-released version, definitely put this on your wishlist.

So far really enjoying this game, it reminds me of asteroids amplified about 1000x with a lot of variety in the core gameplay. The game is relatively simple in concept but takes some practice to become proficient. A little luck and a few homing missiles doesnt hurt either.
+1 good I need chinese good game
Can't wait for the full version. Primitive type graphics, but very entertaining. A rewarding upgrade system and tactic changing differences between weapon and defense systems. Fun!
Best demo ever! Can't wait to get the full version, this game has awesome content and retro graphics.
Freaking fun little pixel shooter with awesome weapons and upgrade mechanics. Hope they keep adding to it and making runs last longer and have a longer lasting impact on future play. Maybe a persistent galaxy.
ive played a demo for hours help
Power of Ten - Demo: "An underrated hidden gem or a lost opportunity?"
Edit #2 - Switching my review to positive - I am easy to please in games, but that doesn't mean I am a content consumption wh0r$ or take everything in, without critical thinking and making constructive criticism. With that being said and out of the way, Power of Ten ( - Demo ) since I haven't played the full release reminded me of Mana Spark !!! A game seemingly boring / repetitive / and overly simplistic, as most reviews brainwashed me to think, but one that after a while I had the TIME OF MY LIFE with ! Don't know what changed my mind from the things said below, which still stand and I will leave them unchanged. But after a few runs I enjoyed more and more the space aerial combat which is well thought out and as good as it gets for the pixelated top down space shooter genre. The main problem I have is the loss of momentum between fighting and mining, but it's not that much of a deal breaker anymore to me and I don't mind it as much anymore. The main conclusion, I want to leave any readers with, is as usual, with - Demo/Prologue game releases, give it a go for a couple of hours and see if you vibe with it, before making an initial investment into the full title, since the demo experience is pretty well representative of the full product. Edit: Was typing down an essay of a review, touching on every possible aspect of Power of Ten-Demo, but when I switched my rating steam decided to overwrite it all... To sum things up as fast as possible, this is a good spiritual successor to the Space/Alien attack genre with roguelike elements sprinkled in. But it ultimately missed the point for me, since I never felt the rush to jump in on another run right away... what good, memorable roguelike has a foundation like this??? The gameplay loop is boring and tedious, and is more like a chore, with roaming around for mining and filling up time for the next space fight. Furthermore I don't like the movement but that's a nitpicking of mine. What isn't is the missed opportunity of enemy variety and rogue-lite foundation to justify the time invested in each run. Anyways I feel this is a harsh review for this standalone free experience, but I couldn't get past these drawbacks so it's inevitably a no from me and I don't think I'll ever pick up the full game. I can see myself clearing a few more achievements but I don't have the patience to go through these mechanics :( But don't let that stop you, you might find a beautiful pixel art space fighting title worth diving into. Try the demo first is what I'm trying to say :) --- Old Review after only 2 runs --- Game's hella simplistic gameplay loop, while 80% mindless roaming and mining asteroids, takes away all the fun for me... The runs end up take an hour + while they could be down to 1/3 of that. It's just tedious imo :( Will give it more time but I don't see myself changing my mind. Super glad I tried the demo firsthand before purchasing...
