POSTAL 4: No Regerts

Ich liebe dieses Spiel, mir sind auch nicht unbedingt viele Bugs während des Spielens aufgefallen. (Eigentlich keine) Es ist halt ein Postal-Game und als solches ist es einfach sehr gut gemacht. Ich kann die negativen Bewertungen nicht verstehen.

No major bugs or performance issues. No major laughs or fun either. We lost the grim dark humor for…? If it was called Postal : Nursing Home Delirium or Postal : Running Without Stories and placed in a context where old Postal dude tells the wacky stories of his past i could maybe accept it. But as a sequel of Postal 2 ? Having a gigantic map just to be told to go somewhere to have fun is disapointing. Sure, there are collectibles and paintings to steal… found in house number 432 being the same has the other 431. The only thing I really regret is that exploration was THE BEST thing from Postal 2. There always was that feeling that something was waiting for you. Sometimes crazy parkour ideas lead to place you feel you’d feel you shouldn’t be and finding a crack pipe or a secret there was like having Papa Desi being proud of you. First time I saw the map in this game it felt like taking methylenedioxymethamphetamin for the first time… with the comedown. In a mission you have to make graffitis to idk who cares. You never see the guy telling you to do it, he uses the radio to talk to you and oh my, don’t breathe for too long because he will remind you what you have to do, again and again. That would have been a good joke to mock gaming companies treating us like babies except it is not a joke. In some places you will find sort of bubbles with challenges good and evil ones. Like… click here and kill 10 rabbits, going postal am I right ? Wtf you mean click here ? Idk put a prop or a specific plant or anything and make it talk to the dude. Example : on top of a building there is a sniper. Getting close to it you hear voice in your head telling you « I bet you can’t blow up x heads Sissy. You had more balls being a cat, ♥♥♥♥♥ ». My writing sucks ? Probably but if you have voids to fill at least make me believe they make sense not just « challenges » throughout the map. That leads to a difficult conclusion. I had the privilege to play the game in a somewhat stable and smooth state. QoL, bugs and performance are not the main problems of the game *audience shock*. No better framerates will fix what makes this a 5/10 and because I love Postal so much i will call it Postal 4 Teenagers and treat it as a spin-off of the series. It seems like RWS became part of the industry it once blamed. Postal 4 is at the right place in the right time. Endless work in progress could replace the DLC jokes in Postal 2. I wonder what Mike and Vince from the 2000’s would think of this game as is and as a sequel. In the end i’m just sad. I can’t say the game is big poopoo (proof that ♥♥♥♥ jokes aren’t funny), it exists and it doesn’t bother me. I will finish it even if i don’t want to because i have faith in the love and effort put into this game and believe that someday my review will change. I love you RWS team. Thank you for all the updates that have come so far and the future ones for the years to come. I don’t regert buying. One last thing. OPEN WORKSHOP AND GIVE MODDING TOOLS WTF ARE YOU WAITING FOR ? ISN’T MODDING PART OF YOUR HISTORY ? DON’T YOU TRUST THE LOVE OF YOUR FANBASE ? ARE YOU AFFRAID ? ISN’T THE GAME READY WHILE BEING FULLY RELEASED ?
