Poppy Playtime

Let me start of by saying that all the chapters of Poppy Playtime are phenomenal. The game runs incredibly well, and seems to be optimized. The story to this game is next level, what started as something with a low budget and was trying to replicate past popular horror, blossomed into it's own identity. Here are my thoughts on each of the chapters. Chapter 1- It was a great introduction to the toy factory, and what Poppy Playtime was supposed to represent. Although the game was a bit short. Chapter 2- My favorite chapter. Mommy Long Legs immediately drew the eyes of many players. She's psychotic and dangerous, but she has a sweet spot for children. This is what solidified Poppy Playtime as the next big horror series. Chapter 3- Everyone was so ramped up for this chapter. Cat Nap was an amazing 'villain'. He was terrifying and his bone-like appearance only catered to this more. An amazing chapter, filled with so much interesting lore about the Poppy Playtime Daycare Facilities. Chapter 4- I really liked the overall theme of violence and senseless slaughter in this chapter. It shows you that some of the 'toys' don't all agree with what the majority are doing. I can't go into it too much without spoilers. I really like how sometimes you can't tell if someone/ something in this game is bad or good. It's always nice to have a grey area. Chapter 5- The expanded lore was great, don't get me wrong, but everyone thought that this would be the last chapter. So expectations were high, and when it delivered a cliffhanger, instead of the final ending, people got upset. I REALLY like Lily and what her whole punishment dynamic represents. I think this was a great lengthy chapter, but just not what I, or anyone was expecting.
