such a good game some parts are really hard and take a long time to get through but it is still verry fun to try
lily lovebraids should be crackable other than that, fantastic, i rot away playing this and can attempt it over and over again and still have fun
My Poppy Playtime Chapter Ranking & Review Chapter 1 It's short, but it's a great introduction to the game. Chapter 2 A fun chapter with enjoyable minigames, and Mommy Long Legs is a really memorable villain. Chapter 3 The best chapter by far! The horror is incredible, the red smoke creates so much tension, CatNap is an amazing antagonist, the boss fight is exciting, and the flashbacks make the story even better. It's an amazing chapter from start to finish. Chapter 4 I found this one a bit weird. Doughy Guy didn't really work for me, and there were a lot more puzzles than horror. The Doctor section was especially boring with all the smoke, and during the boss fight I was running around and joking instead of actually feeling scared. Chapter 5 The intro is amazing—starting with an instant chase scene was such a great way to begin the chapter. Overall, Chapter 5 focuses more on puzzles than horror, but it adds a lot of lore and helps you understand the story and what really happened. It's a really good chapter. Overall My personal favorite is Chapter 3. CatNap is the best character in the series, and I think it's the peak of Poppy Playtime.
I wish i could rate each chapter seperate but as a complete package and story i do not recommend and i feel the story will only get more convoluted and messy just for the sake of reaction bait on youtube
I am conflicted about this one: Pros: -It is a game with a lot of variety (different puzzles, some jump scares, some body horror and some classic "run from the bad guy" sequences) -the story was to my liking and had a good pace (never felt too rushed or too bored) -the gameplay was fun and entertaining most of the time, sometimes the difficulty spikes, but nothing too crazy. -the characters have interesting personalities and ambitions. -the artstyle and some of the map design was creative and the ambience is scary. Cons: -Bugs! A lot of them. Some got fixed, some never got touched. The later chapters were near unplayable the first days after release. (im looking at you chapter 4 and 5 !) -Achievments! We wanted them, they failed to implement them once, and since then they never lost a word about it again. Therefore no incentive to play it more than once, nothing to accomplish. -Price! It started as an Indie game with not a lot to work with and people supported it. But between the couple bucks for the first chapter and 30 bucks for the third one they must have discovered greed! i could get alot of full games with high content for this, yet chapter 3 gave me a couple of hours for that kind of money. Also, if you want chapters 1-5 prepare to pay a fortune for 1 game sold in parts. WIth that in mind i have to say, i can't recommend it currently. For me, the lack of communication about the bugs and achievments was the final nail in the coffin, which is a shame. Good game ruined by Devs incompetence and greed .
This review is for chapter 1 only. The atmosphere is very ominous with the environment being very silent. I like the brief encounters with Huggy Wuggy that build up to the final chase. It is well balanced with exploration and puzzles. The soundtrack is amazing, and it compliments the eerie atmosphere. Huggy Wuggy's design is great as he is animalistic and very prey driven. The chapter is short but I prefer short and good over long and boring.
its a bit scary, pretty nice, at least nicer than garden of ban ban.
