Stats
How fast this game is gaining ratings — the activity signal available where a store publishes no sales or install numbers.
Measured from our own daily snapshots, not reported by the store. Deliberately not converted into sales: a one-tap rating's ratio to copies sold is unknown on this platform, and guessing it would be worse than leaving it out.

Trash Game is trash and is completely set up to keep you playing longer. Bots cheat in solo with perfect draws and counters, while ranked keeps you yo-yoing with their algorithm so it’s a grind and hours wasted more than skill based in deck making. Don’t waste your time on this heavily leaning micro transaction game disguised as a card game time suck
Prison Although I play this game frequently, I’m really just stuck in a prison. I love collecting the cards, but I hate virtually every other aspect of this game, and I’m mostly just playing it because my fam is. The battling system sucks, and there is a power creep. Because the battling system sucks. And in order to get rewards and more hourglasses to open more cards, you’re forced to keep battling . It’s a lot of battling, it’s boring, and you have to get the right cards—consistently, because each month, stronger cards come out and then you have to get those before you can battle. I just want to collect cards. But it’s hard without the rewards from battling. I’m also mad, because they had some kind of currency they discontinued, and they opened a temporary shop with that currency to buy other points and hourglasses. I missed the hourglasses and spent all the currency on the points. This was non-refundable, and since the currency is discontinued, I can’t get more to buy the hourglasses. I messaged about it, and they refused to do anything about it. So, yeah my bad for missing it, but also, there should be some way to have undone that, or at least have helped me. I wasn’t asking for new currency, just to replace what I traded, enough to buy the hourglasses, and they couldn’t/wouldn’t do that. And when hourglasses are something I care about, it really sucked. They’re just sitting in the shop, taunting me.
This game is terrible It’s pay to win, the premade decks are terrible for when you’re trying to do the bot battles. It suggests them and then they can’t do anything against them because the developers are too stupid to know how to make a deck. And it’s all based on rng. Terrible game I hated it and I hate the devs
Devs ruined it for money Pull rates nerfed into the ground, not fun to pull packs anymore. Comp is full of pay to win pack spammers that have the most meta build, which changes every month. so if you don’t have the money to drop on 400+ packs a month for 2 ace pokemon in a comp deck you just won’t have fun. Have to rate 1/5 cause I can’t rate 0/5 greed ruins games and ruins nostalgia.
Helped me learn I’ve never bothered going beyond collecting cards, so being able to gain knowledge about the actual gameplay has been really fun. The prompts during battle help my adhd brain remember the order of actions - something that would hinder me from playing an in-person game. The dev team seems to really care about user satisfaction and the amount of non-paid currency and such is very reasonable. Frequent new packs. This is one of the things my partner and I enjoy together daily.
Money Grab and Weighted Battles 90% of these reviews HAVE to be fake because no way in hell anybody is enjoying this game
AI in the game cheats I have played multiple battles versus AI in the game and I have seen blatant cheating from coin flip manipulation to never seeing a card to play the game out right.
This sucks This sucks
Spend money if you want better odds This review has made me super sad, as someone who has played pokemon since 1996, been to the NAC and Worlds several times, pocket has become a money grubbing joke. The game started off very strong but as the expansions keep coming out, the odds are getting worse as more and more people are leaving the game because of it. The root of it all is built into an AI system that only rewards people who spend lots of money. Skill has zero to do with winning in ranked or anything. How do I know? 3 friends and I started new accounts, each with a different spending amount and playing the same deck for ranked Player A spent 100 bucks on the latest set, filled out the normal dex, got most of the smaller art cards and 3 interactives. Now in ranked they had a 65.7 win rate with an average perfect hand rate of 54% of the time, a heads count flip rate of 61.2% success. Player B has a spending limit of 50 bucks. They got the dex almost filled out, missing 1 EX card. While in ranked had a 58% win rate, perfect hand rate of 46% and 50% heads coin flip rate. Player C has a 25 dollar limit to spend on packs, got most of the dex done, missing an EX and 3 other cards. Ranked win rate of 48.7% perfect hand rate of 34% and 39% heads rate for coin flips. Player D has a 0 spend limit, so an average ftp player. Only filled out 81 cards out of the dex and only received 1 ex card. In ranked, has a 30.6% win rate, perfect hand rate of 12.6% and a coin heads rate of 24%. I sent all this data to customer support showing a flawed system with excel sheets, told them I had videos and everything and was dismissed saying that the game had no issues and was working properly. So in summation. Unless you want to spend 100s every month to be competitive, you might as well play something else and save you time. It’s not worth it because the whole games rates are based on how much you spend with no guarantees and that’s apparently how they want it. There is no skill, only money.
Rigged battles Battles against the CPU are completely rigged. You will not get one coin toss to go your way when you need it, nor will you ever draw the card evolution you need before it is too late
