Stats
How fast this game is gaining ratings — the activity signal available where a store publishes no sales or install numbers.
Measured from our own daily snapshots, not reported by the store. Deliberately not converted into sales: a one-tap rating's ratio to copies sold is unknown on this platform, and guessing it would be worse than leaving it out.

No fun. Collecting is fun, but playing the actual game is more annoying than anything else. The coin flipping is so rigged. They do not even hide it. The CPU will get heads every time and you will get tails. Fell asleep? Might as well just quit. They made a card game that has no more progression. Its just “win a coin flip”. Dont waste your money or your time.
Very bad The pack opening rates are too low. Abysmal gameplay, entirely dependent on luck. The game's AI difficulty is too high.
Fake RNG The time I have spent designing, my decks feels completely wasted and pointless because it’s a game that just wants to keep you playing for as long as possible. I’m sick of spending an hour to design a deck just to get stomped out by fake RNG GAMEPLAY. You can feel the greed the more you play.
Rigged AI for the sake of making money I really hope this review reaches someone. This game can be fun, but it gets ruined for you when you find out the game intentionally rigs the odds against you in both CPU battles and PVP. You spend time thinking you’re using strategy and skill to create a deck that will earn you some fun and wins but no, the game literally chooses when it wants to help you or hurt you. No joke, an actual implementation of this game. I have had deck shuffles that put me in the worst position possible and repeat itself over the course of multiple games, making it over a 1 in 4.8 BILLION CHANCE of doing so. The game can determine when you’ve been winning too much and will try to “balance” things out. This is not a strategy card game, it is a coin flipping RNG reliant gambling cesspool. Love pokemon, hate having no control whatsoever on winning. Do not download and definitely do not spend ANY money. These moron developers think that we, as the consumer, want to get absolutely cooked by AI. Like seriously, test it out yourself. Go into a computer battle using a deck that would benefit you to go first. Watch as you will flip tails and go second 10+ times in a row. Switch to a deck that will benefit you to go second, and watch as you flip 10+ times and go first every time. If by some mathematical miracle you get the desired starting position, witness the AI pull the exact cards you need and flip the exact number of heads they need every. Single. Time. It’s not worth it. Stay away from this game unless you’re just looking to open packs for fun, do not spend your money or waste your time. Shame on the developers, shame on DeNa, and shame on Nintendo.
How? I’ve opened so many packed I understand it’s rng but these are worse than physical packs anymore, I opened over 10 packs yesterday and the most I got was a holo not even a regular plain ex like it’s horrible if your trying to collect or even have fun good for you to the people who had a one time bit of luck but this is completely rigged
Expert battle RNG The RNG has always been extremely overtuned in the CPU’s favor with expert battles, but it’s way more noticeable with how quick and powerful modern pocket decks have gotten.
Lost all my cards Been collecting cards daily for over a year now. Latest update, data was not downloading and kept getting stuck on the home page. Tried restarting the app multiple times, no luck. Finally got fed up and decided to reinstall the app. Turns out my data wasn’t backed up anywhere. The app at no time made any attempt to warn me of this, and it’s not like I could have fixed it after the loading bug anyway. Now everything is just gone. Thanks, guys.
infuriating ui design the game seems to be determined to waste as much time as possible on repetitive animations, popups, and hi placement. every time you open a pack there’s like 3 follow up buttons to press, which even change location. there is alert after and it doesn’t seem possible to ever settle the various notifications within what is a maze of subsections. every action seems to trigger 10 different things to claim and notifications to address. what is especially infuriating in battle is when a pokémon with a status condition like burn is killed, you’re still asked to flip a coin for a status check. what is the actual point??? half the time i spend this game seems to be hunting down pings across iteration of iteration of pages, waiting for animations to finish, and hitting away various pop up buttons
The only Japanese thing i hate This app is bad at every single thing the user might want from it. Makes devs lots of money though. I wouldn’t be surprised if this app wasn’t even Japanese because if it is it’s the stain of Japan
Infuriating The pull rates in this game SUCK. I haven’t pulled a two star in weeks. Infuriating. They NEED to increase the pull rates of higher rarities. I just opened 25 packs of Ruler of the Skies and I got ONE ex. The PvP battles are fun but I’m ready to quit because I like collecting more. ALSO, get rid of shinedust and let us trade more. Pokémon used to be fun. Good day.
