Hand-Drawn arts and animations are gorgeous. The main problem of the game is that it is very hard to understand through the first playthrough(for me at least). I understood this game only after the completion. It is not a bad game, but I can't recommend it to every person

----- French Version ----- Pocket Mirror: GoldenerTraum est un superbe jeu. La direction artistique du jeu est magnifique, que ce soit les sprites, les décors ou encore le sound design. La musique, quant à elle, est tout bonnement incroyable. Le jeu ne brille pas particulièrement par son gameplay, mais davantage par son histoire, qui est exceptionnelle. Les multiples fins se complètent et permettent de mieux comprendre l'univers du jeu ainsi que l'évolution du personnage principal. Le jeu devient encore plus intéressant si vous essayez d'élaborer vos propres théories au cours de votre aventure. Les personnages sont attachants, chacun possédant sa propre personnalité et ses propres problématiques. L'horreur est vraiment bien réalisée. On est davantage dans l'horreur psychologique que dans les screamers, même s'il y en a quelques-uns de temps à autre. Les énigmes sont correctes, et certaines sont vraiment originales. The game's art direction is gorgeous, whether it's the sprites, the environments, or the sound design. The soundtrack, meanwhile, is simply incredible. The game doesn't particularly shine because of its gameplay, but rather because of its story, which is exceptional. The multiple endings complement each other and help the player better understand the game's universe as well as the development of the main character. The game becomes even more engaging if you try to come up with your own theories throughout the adventure. The characters are lovable, each with their own personality and personal struggles. The horror is very well executed. It leans much more toward psychological horror than jump scares, although there are a few of them from time to time.
