A colorful nice 2.5D puzzle platformer. I enjoyed this journey from start to the end, and completed the game in less than 6h. The visuals seem low poly but they are not, color composition is well chosen and the chapters have nice and different ambiance to each area. It completely relies on environmental story telling. Challenges are getting harder the further you process as in most puzzle platformers, so expect some trial and error passages especially towards the end, yet it's all solvable after a few tries and frustration is not too bad.. If it seems impossible, you missed something :) Sometimes you might think a jump should be possible, if it's not, it's not meant to work. Game worked flawless without any crashes on Cachy OS with Proton 10.0-4 and great performance on my device (Asus ROG Ally 2023 + XG Mobile RX 6850m XT)

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Don't let the tags fool you, Planet Alpha is a 2D walking (running?) simulator. I was both entraced and bored at the same time. Pros: * It's gorgeous * The world is full of life, from the atmosphere to the core * Fluid level transition * Character movement is fluid * Very forgiving with precision platforming * 50's robot design Cons: * It's more of an experience than a game * Steam tags are misleading * Enemy movements are not deterministic * Hard to tell whether something is on the characters plane or not * It's not challenging at all, everything is straightforward * Hard to swallow, but yeah, it can be boring Was it a good game? No Will I play it again? Never Is it worth recommending? Yes
Nice sidescrolling jump & run platformer with some puzzles. No fighting! If you enjoyed Inside, give this 'Sci-Fi Alien on another Planet with Robots' themed Dystopia a chance. The start is a bit slow and unnecessary long, but overall really nice gameplay with beautiful colorful graphics. No free saving but checkpoints are fair. Buy when on sale 80+% off and you won't make a mistake.
