Fantastic game. Deserves more players! Thank you dev for the fun time
SO...I loved Gauntlet in the arcades. I have been trying to find a good modern rendition of the game. Sadly all the official Gauntlet releases have been rather disappointing. Then I found Pixel Descent. Weird way to put it maybe but this game scratches all the itches I had for Gauntlet...and even showed me a few itchy spots I didn't even know about. ;P Point is...VERY good game in the Gauntlet style of play...but modern and good.
Perfect for folks like me, who can always use a little more Gauntlet in our lives

Reminds me very much of old school Gauntlet! Tons of characters to play as!
A really fun little game! Kinda like Gauntlet with features. Plenty of characters to unlock and the finite but randomly selected levels keep things pretty fresh, lots of permutations of those characters and upgrades and artifacts... I guess the only thing I could want is a randomly generated Daily Dungeon or Endless Mode or something just for kicks. Once you've unlocked everything (which, with the Priest, isn't TOO hard but challenging enough) there's not a whole lot to do. Either way? 8 or 9 outta 10. Really liked it.
It's a simple, addictive action roguelike at best. It's not everyone's taste, and I'm still getting the hang of it. It's difficult, and usually I hate difficult games. The last difficult game I played to death was Atomicrops (90 hours on another account and still in year 3!). The dev still happily updates the game, even after leaving early access, which is very rare. Hopefully, after 95 minutes of playing, I can pass level 2.
awesome
All the simple dodge and fire game play of Gauntlet along with incremental permanent upgrades. A lot of fun and a bargain whether on sale or not.
For a gamer that sucks at games this might not be the game for you. The game gets harder the longer you play. X amount of hours in and upgrades LVI etc is way harder than when first start off. I was looking for a rogue like game and this fits the bill but I wish I knew they game just got harder no matter what I did.
This game is similar to gauntlet from the arcades back in the day. So if you enjoyed that style of game you should like this one.
