Collect Pixelart items! Get 1-4 tickets every 2 hours to spin the lucky wheel. Win pixelart items or higher rarity tickets! All items appear in your Steam inventory and are tradable/marketable, making it easier to complete your collections.
Revenue comes from in-game items and microtransactions, which our price-based model doesn't estimate. The player count below is how many people own it, not what they spent.

Pixel Collector is one of those very simple idle games where the whole point is collecting things rather than actually playing a normal game. I basically wait for tickets, use them on a lucky wheel and hope I get a pixel art item that I want. The items go straight into my Steam inventory and can be traded or sold, so there is a little more going on than just collecting pictures inside the game. I like the basic idea because it is easy to understand, but there is not much here beyond the collection loop. The main thing I like is how simple everything is. I can leave the game alone and come back later to get more tickets, then use them when I have enough. The tickets come in different rarities, and the wheel can give me an item matching the ticket or a chance at something better. That gives me a small reason to keep checking back because getting a higher rarity ticket or a more unusual item feels like a nice little bonus. The in game inventory and favourite shelf are also useful because they give me somewhere to keep track of the things I actually like. The Steam inventory system is probably the most important part of the whole game. Since the items are marketable and tradable, collecting them has a value outside the actual game, which makes finding a rare item feel more meaningful to me. At the same time, this is also where I start to question how much of a game Pixel Collector really is. A lot of the experience revolves around waiting for drops and relying on luck, so there is not much skill involved. I am mostly managing what I receive rather than actively working towards specific items. The biggest weakness for me is definitely the lack of gameplay. There are no proper levels, combat systems, puzzles or deeper progression mechanics for me to get stuck into. The merchant lets me recycle unwanted items, but that does not change the basic loop very much. I wait, spin, collect something and then wait again. That can be relaxing for a while, but I do not think it has enough going on to keep me properly interested for long periods of time. The rarity system gives the collection some excitement, but it also makes the whole experience heavily dependent on luck. I also think the paid extras make the design a little harder for me to appreciate. There are optional purchases for more tickets and a premium lottery, while the main game is free. I do not have to buy them to use the basic system, which I appreciate, but I would rather see more actual gameplay added before spending money on additional chances to use the same wheel. The developer also says more features are planned, so there is some room for the game to become more interesting over time. Right now though, I am judging what is actually here rather than what might be added later. Overall, Pixel Collector is a very basic collecting game that has one interesting idea in its Steam inventory system but not much depth behind it. I like the pixel art theme, the rarity system, the ability to trade items and the fact that I can make progress without constantly having the game open. The problem is that almost everything comes down to waiting and luck, and there is not enough interaction to make it feel like a proper game for me. I can see myself checking it occasionally and enjoying a rare drop, but I would not want to spend a lot of time actively playing it. It is a harmless little idle collector, but it needs more meaningful gameplay to move much higher for me. Rating: 6.6/10

Zdobądź los, zakręć kołem, wygraj słodkie rzeczy i stwórz słodkie przedmioty... I bądź szczęśliwy!
