Súrodenecká dvojica archeológov sa v 2D roguelike platformeri Pit Panic snaží utiecť z kolabujúceho aztéckeho chrámu. V úlohe brata alebo sestry musíte pomocou háku unikať pred stúpajúcou vodou, čo výrazne pripomína starú amigovku Sink or Swim. Hra ponuka cartoon grafikcký štýl, vtipných nepriateľov a veľmi vysokú obtiažnosť v divokom tempe. Medzi hlavné nedostatky patrí horšie odladenie walljumpu a občasný neprehľadný chaos na obrazovke, problémy s ovládačom, no pre fanúšikov ťažkých arkád ako Mr. Driller a Spelunky ide o chytľavú záležitosť s editorom úrovní aj dennými výzvami. Jednoznačne odporúčame!

Great and challanging game that can always find a new way to surprise me. I played it solo and also in a local group changing player for each run. Still have a way more fun with thins game than any 3A title 10/10

Pit Panic is a fast-paced roguelike platformer where you climb your way out of a collapsing Aztec temple using a hook that can dig, swing, and break through the environment. Each run mixes handcrafted rooms, hazards, power-ups, bosses, and increasingly difficult movement challenges. Pros ✔️ The short runs make it VERY easy to try again - Failing never felt like I had wasted a ton of time, and most deaths immediately made me want to jump back in and see if I could get a little farther. ✔️ The art and character design give it a strong identity - The cartoon style works really well and keeps the different characters and environments memorable without needing to chase realism. ✔️ The movement gets better the more you learn it - Digging, grappling, and climbing started clicking once I stopped trying to rush every room. By later runs I was actually planning how I wanted to move instead of just desperately going UP. Cons ❌ The controller and mouse UI could use some cleanup - The controller leaves a crosshair sitting in the middle of the screen for some reason, while mouse aiming does not clearly show the actual range of your hook. Neither one communicates things quite as cleanly as I would like. ❌ New mechanics are not explained enough - The TNT jump was a good example where I was being asked to do something before I even understood what the game meant by it. ❌ There is not much room to lower the difficulty - I do not think the challenge is unfair, but if someone wants the same gameplay at a more relaxed level there really is not much of an option for that. Conclusion Pit Panic surprised me because this usually would not be the type of game I expect to get super invested in. The difficulty never felt unfair, and the more I understood how to approach each area, the more fun I was having with it. By the end I could absolutely see how this could become really, really addictive for the right person, and apparently I may be closer to that person than I thought. Score 8/10 Hook Swings - I didn't expect this climb to hook me as much as it did.

Smooth platformer that makes you rage... and then try again. Had a lot of fun climbing the leaderboard in demo and griding my way to the top of the temple now. (My 4y old loves the first boss design and keeps asking for it as plushie. Devs please! :))

So, I got this game for free and I've only played it for a few minutes... it is not for me, BUT it is a well made game non-the-less. The animations and overall design look good and the gameplay is... well it is exactly what you'd expect. If you enjoy this kind of games, I think you'll enjoy it. If you don't... well... why are you even looking at this page then?

Hraje je jednoduchá, pěkně plynulá a můžu si odpočinout. Má spousta schovaných herních mechanik a náhodně generované levely. Někdy člověk ztrácí nervy, ale svými chybami. Super hra za pár kaček.

一款非常有意思的“是男人就下一百层”游戏，每局游戏时间5~10几分钟，适合时间碎片化的玩家随时开一局，悠闲程度和宝石迷阵、连连看、祖玛之类比较相似。游戏里的角色场景都非常可爱有趣，游戏的难度也不小，每次获得更高的得分，就会有一种挑战成功的喜悦感。
