How can a remake of a game made 20 years ago, includes LESS content than the original. And I can see now that they have released the missing mini games that was in the original as an expansion pack. This seems insane to me. I would rather pay to play the original than this cashgrab of a game.

Surely more people with extensive experiences working on this means more great content, right? Not always. Sometimes developers deliberately choose to exclude or prioritize what they feel is right. Often due to time constraints. I believe the absence of mini-games and content from the original is quite noticeable, and lessens the overall impact of the game. Especially for those who played the original versions. With a greater focus on the racing aspect of the game this time, you lose that sense of wonder and diversity the original provided. Yes, Flåklypa is at its core, a racing experience. However, all the different original mini-games helped expand Flåklypa's lifespan. You could play for hours, because to a greater extent it didn't feel like a one-sided game. Flåklypa isn't just about racing. It's also about the [b] curious and quirky environment [/b] the characters inhabit. The world they live and breathe in. When you take away some of that character and soul, the heart that is Flåklypa beats a little weaker. Until you grow tired of it, and move on. Some people will be fine with the content available, and that's ok. You can't please everyone when making games, no matter what short- or long term decision you make. Not every brand can sustain itself forever. And, as much as it hurts, all good things must come to an end.
