I cannot get this to fully run on my steam machine or steam deck.
never played pinball before playing this and now im fully addicted.
I break this out for a few games here and there, it's my goto pinball game. The "other one" tries to recreate classic tables while Pinball FX does more fanciful modern tables. I would ask the devs to implement keyboard controls, for example on the Settings I can use my up and down arrows to move the cursor but the left and right keys don't work. Would be nice if there was keyboard control (like a website) of the game, like being able to tab through all the menus and hit enters to choose one. Not much else to say it's a cool pinball game with a gillion tables available, I only own ten and that's enough for me. Game always performs well for me, never seen it lag.

Not an hyperfan of pinball but I like the concept of these machines. I was thinking to casually play this 30 minutes a week but I couldn't get used to the normal perspective because the ball looks too small. If I had a bigger screen able to rotate 90 degrees I would have enjoyed it more. Still a great game.
A really comfy virtual pinball game for fans of IRL pinball. The microtransactions to purchase the tables individual are cancerous but everything else the game has to offer is excellent. I much prefer this version to Pinball Fx 3 (now known as Pinball Fx Classic). There are much better and cooler tables available in this version than the previous. Twilight zone and Addams family were not possible purchases in the previous FX game. Also, the good tables from the previous game are available again and available for purchase in a pack that lets you get it for both games. I'm also a huge fan of the new music and atmosphere, and the new Pinhall. Really helps add to that COMFINESS of a pinball enjoyer. Heavily recommend this game to a pinball fan that is willing to shell out for individual tables of interest.
very fun but you need to buy lots of the pinball tables
Love it! Runs great on legion go highly recommned if you are a pinball fan
I will gladly pay for pinball tables rather than aquire them free by less than equitable means leaving owners or developers without the just compensation they deserve. But more importantly I love the these fully supported pinball solution types for the following reasons: 1) Ease of installation. I tried the community-based pinball solutions and despite the generosity of many devoted users that have put tons of effort into making it easier, I just don't have the time or energy to make things work and keep working. I want a plug and play solution with great support and am willing to pay for it. I want to play pinball and not always be messing under the hood. 2) Complete Software Soluion. I really enjoyed every minute of building my own virtual pinball cabinet, but having a whole one-stop free application package with a large number of avaliable tables was awesome. It includes a great user interface, world wide top scores tracking, updates, bug fixes, competitions, challenges, rewards, etc which is a game changer. 3) Reasonable Table Costs. Compared to top name gaming apps which can be very expensive to buy and pay for updates as new freatures/technology are added, Pinball FX is free and tables especially with weekly and seasonal sales are relatively cheap (couple of dollars each). Old school pinball users may not enjoy the animations, modernization, fantastic sounds & music, but I sure do even as a product of the 60s & 70s.
decent physics with many classic tables as well as unique and licensed tables
Nice, I love playing my favorite pinball tables. That I played on pinball arcade ten years ago, Pinball Arcade still has some good tables on it. But sadly most of the really good one's are gone. The animation on the tables looks neat. The ball physics are OK. I think the physics on pinball arcade were little better. I would recommend this. it's got a great selection of tables
