About
Pigeon: A Love Story is a game where you soar across to-scale replicas of iconic cities in search of your pigeon-shaped soulmate.
It's a slow game for fast times.
Fly through full-scale maps of London, New York, Tokyo, Paris and Amsterdam: every building, every street, and every pigeon (we did the math).
Hundreds of thousands of autonomous pigeon NPCs flying and interacting in a real-time, city-wide simulation. Call out to as many as you can: most will politely reject you, but some may give you the occasional clue. One of them, somewhere, is waiting for you.
Play with up to eight friends across two different multiplayer modes: in one you must try to find each other, and in the other you must compete to see who can find their pigeon soulmate first.
Let the game play itself, screensaver style, if you just feel like birdwatching.
Optional. Coo into your microphone to call out in-game.
Lock in and zen out to a soundtrack composed specifically for the game by Madwreck.

this is such a cute cosy game! the npc birds have some funny quotes, the art style is beautiful, the music is chill vibes and the maps are fun to explore! i only wish you were able to land and trot about but that's not much of a big deal really! recommend for anyone wanting a cheap game to play with their partner or friend!
Pigeon is an immersive, relaxing experience. Now I can say I've flown over the Eiffel Tower, seen the graffiti in New York, taken in the view across Tokyo. Coo. I'm a bit of a completionist, having spent an hour and a half finding all the landmarks in London (a couple hundred more to go across the rest of the cities!). But that hour and a half didn't feel long and arduous. Rather, it was a journey filled with anticipation (where will I fly to next?), and the companionship I felt with my pigeon soulmate by my feathery side made it all the more sweet. Oh, and flying over a cluster of colorful hot air balloons just feels so beautiful. It's my first time ever doing something like that. Coo. The music is perfectly zen and relaxing... it makes me feel like I'm floating. It captures the longing, the city air, the wind blowing across your feathers as you soar - although that might just be the fan pointing at my face as I play. Maybe that's the true way to play? Would it make Pigeon a 4D game? Coo? Nevertheless, if you wanted to know how it feels to be a pigeon, to lose yourself in the expanse of the big city, and to find and fly alongside your true love, Pigeon is for you. Coo.

Definitely a game you play casually, when your mind is in or needs to be in a relaxed state. I played with a controller. I started with Amsterdam, which is basically just a flat map (literally and figuratively) but if you're from there you'll probably find it exciting. New York is definitely a lot more... touristically appealing. This is though something you can appreciate only from a bird's eye view. Fun fact, I discovered of this game's release only after finishing Wristwork's previous title "Faceminer". To think that the same dev made both of these is quite something given the stark contrast in mood between the two.
Such a beautiful, chill and serene game. Really cool maps, nice controls, fun mechanic, but most importantly really chill. I'd like if we got a different view from rooftops - maybe a more detailed animation or view of some kind? Other than that, no notes.

Twas a very zen experience flying over the city I've lived at my whole life and rediscovering areas whilst 'cooing' as many pigeons as I can at once! The music was very relaxing and the pigeon flying mechanics work well enough, would be fun to be able to pull off more flying tricks as you find your one, true pigeon partner. Flying around a city you don't know could also help give you an overview of the area too and help with your geography ;D All in all, fun experience and worth giving a go!
Cute lil cozy game. Perfect for taking your mind off things ^^
is it sparse? yes. is it at times frustrating? yes (my first two jaunts only revealed the soulmate after a grid had been over 95% cleared D:). but! as a chill international city-explorer, it delivers the goods. a great, silly way to decompress at the end of the day. I expect to revisit this more in the future first time I've played a game somewhat randomly recommended to me on reddit. I don't plan to make a habit of that as a means for recommendations but this was some very fortunate luck
