Phase 10: Casual Card Game

Phase 10 classic! Reminds me of my grandmother and other times been around a table with good people and was one family

Love BUT hate! I love this game so much— great side quests, fun challenges, etc— but I HATE how rigged it is if you don’t spend money. I don’t mind spending a little here and there, but I’ve spent HOURS on levels that I magically win after I make even a small purchase. It makes me so mad!!

Greedy “energy” system win or lose, you use “energy” to play each game. When you run out they want you to buy more. This is even greedier than the run out of “lives” system when you lose. I might consider buying the game but I’m not going to pay per play. Greedy.

CPU will win every time CPU gets handed the win every time no matter how strategic you play. Can’t even play! What a joke. Creators don’t care read every response to every one star review (you’ll notice how they just repeat themselves and clearly are not going to attempt to actually make the game playable). You can keep blaming the player creators but when nobody can pass a specific level without paying actual money then your game needs to be fixed.

Loser friendly I have had this game for a few years and stopped playing because the odds are against you. You can play the same level 50 times before you may or may not win. I Love Phase 10, just wish I could win occasionally. I get frustrated when on the 1st level, everybody but you gets every card they need and goes out. Am I whinging? No, just stating facts. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result. Guess I’ll stop playing for a while again in hopes they improve the game to let the humans win more than once in a blue moon. It really takes the enjoyment out of the game.

Game is great Ads are stuck The games gets stuck in the long ads and never recovers. You have to exist the game and go back in. If you offered an ad free version I’d pay for it. As of now I play until I get aggravated and then I’ll leave the game and not play for weeks SHAME!

I love this game but… I really do love this game, but it finally pushed me to write my first App Store review after repeatedly opening the App Store instead of simply returning me to the game when the commercial is over. My biggest concern is that Phase 10 prevents my iPhone from going to sleep. If I set my phone down—or even happen to fall asleep with the game open—it stays on instead of locking like every other app. It drains the battery, makes my iPhone excessively hot, and I’ve even received temperature warnings telling me to let it cool down before using it. The ads are also far too long, often lasting a minute or more. Please put the user experience ahead of aggressive advertising and fix the screen timeout behavior.

Pay to win The bots win 9/10 times before you even get a chance to make a move, either you pay for good cards or you spend hours just to pass one level
