Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Recomendo! Nota: 8/10

Full disclosure: I should have liked this. I like most Devolver-published games. I like lots of fast-moving, fluid 2D side-scrolling indie games. I like platformers in general and polished pixelart passion projects in general. This game just did not flow for me at all. Like, AT ALL. The core idea is that all movement is accomplished by drilling through patches of soft ground. You have to press the drill spin to enter, then you manage your arc while you are underground, then you have to time a 'boost' so that you launch out of the ground aimed in such a way that you land in the right place or can reach the next drillable patch. This kinda felt like falling off a surfboard over and over. Aside from the controls and gameflow, Pepper Grinder looks like it is borrowing a lot of structure from Donkey Kong Country 2. There are hidden skull coins in every level, and it looks like you find shops and can use them to buy various extras. Usually I love to hunt for secrets as I move through a level, but here I would miss them left and right and have no idea where to look. I struggled to go fast (chaining drill boosts / lining up drill launches) and struggled to go slow (find hidden coins). Anyway there must be people who 'get' this but this was not my jam at all. Happy to refund it and put the $6 toward a Devolver game I will actually enjoy.
I've done everything in the game except the speedruns, and i have to say this game is phenomenal with its only flaw being its too short! The mechanics are fluid and dynamic but still easy to understand, rewarding quick reflexes to pass rhe levels but attention to detail to find all the skull coins. The art style is cute and well-done, the story is... well mario-tier to be honest, this is not Celeste, but the soundtrack is a BANGER. id strongly recommend picking it up.
In all my time as a game designer I find that the way the first boss is a little ballsy in being difficult, and so far the levels are easy but there's just a sharp difficulty spike for each boss that doesn't seem to be matched by future level design; the game is fun other than that.
I was drawn into this game because of the art style and a youtuber I like to watch said it was good. I agree, this is a good and unique game that is fun to play... until you hit the first boss. I am sure this is skill issue, but after 50+ tries to beat the first boss I threw in the towel. It is crazy how big the difficulty spike is. I still think this is a cool game and should be seen by more people, but I am just not sure if this one is for me.
This is a beautiful game with fantastic bosses and fun mechanics, I truly think this game only gets better the more you play. The main story can be rather short but I think the sweet spot is going for all of the big coin collectables, If you go for all of the time attack times this game starts to overstay its welcome a bit. I really hope this isn't the last we see of pepper grinder because I really enjoyed my time with this game.
3/5. A very simple platformer that I've been waiting on since even before I got a PC. I will say, I'm not disappointed, I just think I hyped myself up too much. The gameplay is great, and the grinder controls pretty well for the most part. The most annoying thing is how gravity works when you jump out of a block but I think that's just me being bad at the game. The stickers are easy to collect and are honestly there for those who like that stuff. I'm not really a side quest person, so I was glad to see they were intrusive. I did collect all the medals which was really fun to do. The gameplay is really the focus. You aren't playing a game like this for the story. It's like expecting Mario to have a Naughty Dog story. I wish there was a little more game, and hopefully there's a sequel that borrows more from Drill Dozer (the obvious inspiration for this game)
