[h2]It's done well, but it's rather dated now. 7/10[/h2] The game is exactly what it sounds like, only it's a sign of the time it was set in and uses DDR4, mostly HDDs and SSDs and takes ages to unlock a 1080 ti (which seems to be the best GPU available) The expansion adds QOL stuff but I think the pacing is too slow for me to want to play it more than I have.

Be warned that this game has been abandoned by the developers for 3 years now, so is bitrotting in terms of the parts used to build a PC. Rather than releasing DLCs of parts to keep the game relevancy going and generating ongoing revenue, they decided to create a sequel game instead. This sort of game lives and dies on maintaining a wide and current set of parts and the devs decision has lead to the slow death of this first iteration of the game. I wouldn't put it past them to release a third version in the future either, so I'd be wary of buying the sequel too. I feel that the price of this first game should be gradually lowered over time because of this, but the price history shows otherwise. It's normally £14.99 and drops to £3.74 during sales - this is too much for a long abandoned game that has a sequel. It's even worse when you realise the sequel is exclusive to the Epic Games Store (developers probably got a bag of cash for that exclusivity, which incentivised them to abandon this game), so Steam users will think this is the only version of the game and be suckered into buying it. It's shameful that the sequel isn't on Steam some 4 years after its release (Epic must surely still paying the devs for this extended exclusivity). The whole debacle has left a bitter taste in my mouth - I can't recommend buying either game version because of this.
fun for a bit till they throw impossible tasks at you after you spent money on parts. they are the same everything but somehow now that they are replaced they are inferior, or you give them better parts its not turning green. so yeah it is fun but very aggravating when i want to just relax and do reparative stuff. so review yes and no

Look, we’ve all been there—you want to build a dream rig, but you’re terrified of static electricity or accidentally snapping a motherboard pin. Enter PC Building Simulator. Honestly? This game is just a total vibe. It’s my go-to "chill out" game. There’s something strangely satisfying about that loop of checking your virtual email, ordering parts, and putting everything together in your workshop. It’s clean, it’s organized, and unlike real life, you don't have to deal with cable management being a total nightmare. Is it actually educational? Yes, but let's keep expectations realistic. It’s not going to make you an expert IT tech, and it definitely only scratches the surface of the real-world process. But if you’re a total beginner, it’s genuinely helpful. You’ll walk away knowing exactly how the major components fit together and how they interact. It’s basically "PC Building 101" in a sandbox, which is awesome if you’re prepping for your first real-life build. The "Infinite Loop" Factor The replayability here is actually huge. I thought I’d get bored, but I’ve sunk so many hours into this just because it’s fun to mess around with different parts and aesthetics in free-build mode. You don't really get tired of it, unless... well, unless you’re an achievement hunter. A quick word of warning for my fellow completionists: If you’re the type who needs that 100% completion badge on your Steam profile—proceed with extreme caution. The grind to get every achievement in this game is not for the weak. It’s a massive, soul-crushing time sink. If you just want to have fun, you'll love it. If you’re coming in to 100% it? Grab a coffee, because you’re going to be here for a long time. TL;DR: If you want a fun, casual, educational experience, pick this up. It’s absolutely worth it. Just maybe leave the achievements for the brave souls among us.

还可以吧 感觉玩这游戏像在打工而且还没钱 装机有些细节没有 不过做的还不错 要是想学装机还是老老实实看硬件茶谈吧 而且画质有点低
