Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 10 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Turn based strategy with alot of emphasis on exploring and colonizing different planets/ space and tactical battles against other factions. Grants a lot of freedom in building your own Units. Things never really get complicated in this game, so it can be played without long tutorials and I like that. But there are alot of things to do and strategize over so I wouldnt call it a casual game. Its silly to sell your enemies cities that have your units inside and then retake the city in the same turn ;) But all in all its great fun for me as a player who doesnt have high expectations because I rarely play the genre.
To the folks complaining about lack of ESC to back out of menus...USE THE RIGHT MOUSE BUTTON! THIS IS MORE IMMEDIATELY AT YOUR FINGERTIPS THAN HAVING TO REACH FOR A KEY. Just because it's done elsewhere doesn't mean it has to be done everywhere for all time! LEARN TO ADAPT LIKE A REAL GAMER, and not whine like a child. Pax Nova is an atmospheric, slow-burn space colonisation adventure with the usual Diplomacy and Research options expanding as you evolve and grow. It has that absorbing One-More-Turn sauce beloved of the 4X genre, backed up by pretty far-future visuals and a haunting space-ambient soundtrack with all the tension and grand swells you'd expect from a Hans Zimmer score. I'm having a great time with this, and just don't get the negativity.

Tutorial is bad to not say inexistant. There is no story as such. It's procedural map and you kill everyone. So Kind of CIV type of game. You cannot leave the menu by pressing escape. You have to click the cross at top right corner? I couldn't get into it. Looking at reviews, seems like i was not the only one. I would go play Endless legend if you want a 4X.
It a fun game but needs a lot update.
One of THE worst turn-based strategy games I've ever encountered. You start a game at normal settings and your main city gets attacked by alien life forms immediately. Defense districts for defence or military academies for building attack units you quickly build don't work, because you need to staff them first with citizens to be operational. Good luck with a barely grown city of two citizens. And all of this is happening while your AI opponents freely roam the map and evolve. Absolut trash of a game, not even worth to buy at a deep discount. There are more polished and better games of the specific genre out there at a better price and with mechanics that actually make sense.

Having both watched people play and also played myself I can comfortable say this is a decent 4x title. Very CIvilization in gameplay with a lite Space layer and then a return to classic play on planet surfaces. Definitely all in all a good general experience and very much scratches that civ itch with a little extra and not just a "So the pacifistic group nukes you" Ala Gandhi in Civ.

I wan't to love it, but can't stop getting into dead ends. could be skill issue
It's a good game to play while watching TV. there are not many turn based games, where you play in space and on planet (like star general from ssi). i was looking for something like that for a while. scenarios would have been nice, as like in civ the "start randomly" doesn't exactly carry well into longer games. besides of that the game does what you payed for, not more. the "story" doesn't care, but the concept ist nice.
