Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 691/day in the week to Jul 17 → 4.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Pax Dei is the first game in a long time that genuinely made me have a lot of fun again. I feel like it has an incredible amount of potential, and I’m really excited to see where it goes over the next months and years. What I like so much about the game is the freedom. You don’t have to “work through” some main storyline just to get XP. Instead you can decide what you feel like doing in the moment: going on an expedition into unknown areas, fighting, or just relaxing while crafting and gathering. That feeling of being out in a living world and being able to create my own adventures is honestly just great. Now, here’s what I currently still miss in Pax Dei. Right now, a lot of the core loops feel a bit too similar every time. If I go on an ore run, or fight the enemies near my house, it’s almost always the same: I get the same resources, face the same challenge, etc. Early on you still have that exciting progress of upgrading armor, weapons, tools, but at some point that progress naturally (and understandably) slows down a lot. I think what would really help the game is more surprises. Small opportunities that can pop up and make each day in Pax Dei feel a little more unique. Some concrete ideas I’d love to see: - Traveling merchants moving through the world with their carts, offering different items (and maybe buying items as well). That way, on an ore run I might randomly meet a merchant who sells a blue sigil I need, or iron sheet, or other crafting resources that are otherwise pretty grindy to farm. - Roaming bosses that wander through the world. They could be a real danger, but also an opportunity to get special resources (and they would simply look really cool). - Treasures that spawn in Lyonesse or in the wilderness, either guarded by enemies you have to defeat to claim the treasure, or creating a situation where PvP can happen around it. About gear crafting: I think gear could also benefit from a bit more surprise. What if crafting had a small random factor, so the same chest piece might give 350 HP one time and 450 HP another time? And going a step further: maybe you could use runes or something similar while crafting to increase the chance for certain attributes, or even try to improve those attributes afterwards in some way. For bigger enemy camps, I also think chests or just lootable objects lying around would feel very rewarding. Even if it’s “just” a few more medallions, vials, bars, etc., it would make it feel more worth it to clear an entire camp. (And I already think the named enemies are really cool!) Another addition that would fit the game very well in my opinion would be equipable items you can’t craft, with special abilities. These could come from chests or specific bosses as drops. That would give them a special kind of rarity. Overall, I’d also love more alternative paths to reach a goal. For example: if I’m playing solo and want to craft a weapon that requires an item that only drops in a dungeon, and nobody sells it… then I’m kind of stuck. Having more options (like the merchants mentioned above) could be a really great addition and make the game feel more flexible.

one of the most boring games ive played
Bad Valheim without the vibes.
I've never experienced a game where grinding is such a massive focus. It's an incredibly grindy game. not really rewarding.
0 PVE to do. The only good thing about this game would be the building if it wasnt so time consuming to get the materials.
I didn't like it at first but something keeps me playing. I don't want anyone or anything guiding me. Following my wanderlust.
I really wanted to like this, but the fact you need to be very active to have enough grace to pay for your very small irrelevant piece of land makes this game exceptionally grindy for most players. Devs say that gold is supposedly easy to make from killing npcs in camps, but the one time I went a millimeter too close to a camp, it had me one-shot from aimbot Archers in a second so I couldn't even react to the happenings. I don't see how that is supposedly any fun or balanced? Also you can pay real money for a plot of land? At first I thought that's a good idea to support development / server costs or whatever it pays for but in the long run for how little I've played over this month, it also doesn't feel like a good idea. I think my plot expires in a week or so, I really wanted to progress in this game but after spending 2 hours or so figuring out how to make better tools and stuff.. I learned that it takes like 15-30 minutes in REAL LIFE minutes to make simple advancements towards better equipment such as metal tools. At first the game is very much like any fresh start in ARK, Minecraft or even Rust, but after realizing that crafting and such really takes forever, it just makes the game impossible to enjoy. This is more like a mix between Wurm Online and New World than an sandbox survival MMO and I'm not here for it. Overall, the game has nice graphics and it really sucks that devs go with nice graphics but completely miss out on optimizations forcing one to use potato settings as much as possible without losing too much visual fidelity. This game has potential, as long as developers won't cause the end of development in the forseeable future, I will come back and try it again in a year or so to see if things have changed for the better or not. Right now, I cannot defend myself playing this over other games that do things so much better and without the hassle of waiting real life minutes for crafting and progressing simple tasks in early game. Is this game for you? (currently) Are you unemployed and like a really painful grind? This is the game for you. Do you have responsibilities in life and an angry boss that fires you for coming late to work? This is not the game for you. You will spend more time, and miss many a sleep.
The grind. I get it that some folks want realism and like to gather and craft for hours on end. But damn... Next to the crafting recipies this game is VERY BLEND. Fighting is just standing there, face to face with mobs rubbing against you and wait for the special hits to work on them. Would be nice if plots were bigger, without een using their stupid paywall. So far I havn't enjoyed this game during the 16 hours of woodcutting and mining, just to get some better equipment/XP. No I wouldn't recommend this ♥♥♥♥ to anyone.
