About
An island outside of reality. A rogue human civilization hoping to resurrect dead alien gods. A murder behind locked doors.

Paradise is an island that regenerates every few millennia. The psychic power that the alien worshipers within release into the universe is meant to feed and eventually resurrect their fallen deities. But this force also attracts undesired interest from demons, who eventually corrupt each island — until a new alternate reality is birthed by the Council.
The system isn’t perfect, but it will be one day — on Perfect 25, the next island-to-be. But on the eve of rebirth, the Council is murdered and Paradise is killed.
In the aftermath, the “investigation freak” Lady Love Dies is summoned from exile to find the culprit. This is the crime to end all crimes.
What are the facts? What are the truths? Are they the same?

Return to Paradise Island in this updated and enhanced version of Paradise Killer, featuring new music and new mysterious beings, additional quests and rewards, extra Starlight skins, and more collectibles to find, plus performance improvements, a HUDless mode and Steam achievements. A free update for all players, available now.

Featuring DX12 support, ray tracing* (DX12 only), advanced upscaling (NVidia DLSS and AMD SR), and a host of other visual and performance updates, Paradise Island looks more stunning than ever!

You are tasked with finding the killer and building an airtight case against them. Take your case to trial and argue your interpretation of the evidence. Only when someone is successfully convicted can the crime be considered solved and Paradise be saved.

The “truth” is that there are many possible killers, and many ways to build a case. Even if you make a convincing case for prosecution and get someone convicted, is the mystery really solved?

Paradise is an island set in an alternate future history filled with cryptic lore and even more mysteries. Examine bizarre relics to learn more about this world’s surreal history.

You choose who to accuse, and build a case to support conviction. Everyone on Paradise has a secret to hide and something to gain. Old friends become new suspects, forcing you to choose between the evidence, the greater good and your own beliefs. There are many possible murderers, but who you pick will define your own personal truth.

Let your personal computer and electronic assistant Starlight be your guide through another dance of an investigation. Collect evidence, record testimony and interpret the facts to form your own truth.

Solve hieroglyph puzzles on ancient nightmare computers to discover new areas of the island, find concealed evidence and reveal terrifying secrets.
Paradise Killer has a suite of accessibility options that allow you to tailor the game to suit your needs.
*Raytracing requires a compatible NVidia RTX GPU, DirectX 12 and Windows 10 Build 1809. To play with Raytracing, please launch the game in DirectX 12 mode.

May you fly with destroyed Eden
Man ♥♥♥♥ me. This game came out in 2020 and feels like it is still ahead of its time. This is probably the BEST detective game I have ever played. It forces you to think through theories, and the set up is good enough that you have to do the one thing that detective games always fail to do: theorise. Even when you have all the evidence, it is not just a simple obvious answer as to the motives and mechanics of what happened. The lore is also incredibly eerie. And you can easily call the game "vaporwave" which is true. But this really is the first game that seriously tries to imagine not just what a vaporwave aesthetic would look like, but a vaporwave world, lore, story and characters. It is bizarre in the best possible way. This joins look outside as a game that does "eldritch horror" in a unique way, not just in terms of lore but in terms of the feeling it is trying to get you to feel. Most detective style games are in truth narrative games with an overall mystery. Here, we have a true detective game with a cool story. I really strongly recommend this.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 22: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This game is akin to a psychedelic acid trip, in all the right ways. It's... bizarre to say the least, what with the purple, giant shiny skulls around the tropical island and overzealous worshipping of alien gods that require human sacrifices, but it's colorful, visually striking and quite unique. I like the collectathon part, queer-leaning character designs (variety is very refreshing, though some suspension of disbelief is required). Exploring the island and searching for clues at my own pace felt quite relaxing. The murder mystery and overall story is intriguing, though it felt like a lot and by the time I'd uncovered all secrets I did not care much for the end game trials. Beware of the clunky movement, especially the jumping where you keep your momentum mid-jump and there's no way to redirect yourself. A few in-game upgrades thankfully compensate for the otherwise frustrating platforming. Still, I recommend this game for the funky vaporwave visual novel experience and the absolute bangers that make up the OST.
This game is just really weird. I wanted to like it but I couldn't get into it. I couldn't connect or get immersed at all.

oui
Satisfying investigation game. I think the amount of platforming and collection pads the game a bit more than necessary but the characters and plot keep it going.
Imagine that someone made a particularly large VR chat level with collectibles, and all you can do in it is awkwardly hop (unless you figure out how to get some exta abilities). This is THAT The Game. Don't expect any actuial investigation Ace Attorney style... or any style. Your only tasks are: 1. Find all relevand doohickeys. 2. Exhaust all conversation options. 3. Select a criminal for each case. Everything else happens automatically. And you might think: "Ah, the criminal selection must be really hard!" No it isn't! Usually about 2 people have any evidence relevant to any given case. And some of it is REALLY DAMNING. So selecting a totally unrelated person is impossible (unless you misclick) and choosing between valid options is usuall easy. And it doesn't even matter if you pick the actual perpetrator, because the game doesn't seem to care. But it's still a thumbs up from me, because I enjoyed the hopping collectathon and the plot was pretty interesting. I gotta say that I don't like that one of the achievements is a speedrun =\
