I think the first one is probably better and should be ported instead of the second. The second is still decent.

Paradise Island 2: Hotel Game is the kind of management game that I can easily settle into for a while. I start with a fairly basic tropical island and slowly turn it into a much bigger resort filled with hotels, attractions, shops and restaurants. I liked the feeling of watching the island develop as I earned resources and unlocked more buildings. It is not trying to be an incredibly complicated strategy game, but it does a good job of creating that satisfying feeling of starting small and gradually building something much bigger. The building side is easily my favourite part. There are more than 300 buildings to work towards, and I can use them to shape the island into the kind of resort I want. I enjoyed placing hotels alongside attractions and businesses instead of just covering the whole island with one type of building. Watching tourists arrive and actually having the resort feel busier as it grows makes the progression feel worthwhile. I also liked the variety of things I can build for visitors. Hotels are obviously the main attraction, but there are restaurants, shops, rides, cafes and other activities that help turn the island into more of an entertainment destination. There are also animals in danger that I can help and feed, which adds a nice little nature focused element to the usual hotel management. It gives me something else to work towards when I am not simply upgrading buildings. There is a decent amount of extra content surrounding the main building system too. I can take part in competitions, visit other islands, look for hidden objects and collect gifts. There are also special events and quests that introduce different objectives and temporary activities. I liked having these things available because they stop the game from being nothing but waiting for resources and building another hotel. The island feels more active because there is usually something else happening around it. The biggest problem for me is the free to play progression. Paradise Island 2 is built around in app purchases and that can definitely affect the pace of the game. Some upgrades and building projects can take patience, and the temptation to speed things up can become noticeable. I think the actual management gameplay would be more enjoyable if progression was consistently generous rather than sometimes feeling like I am being encouraged to wait or spend. I do like how colourful and cheerful everything looks, though. The tropical setting is a natural fit for this type of game, and there is something relaxing about looking at a resort that I have gradually built up myself. The game has also received a lot of new events and buildings over time, so there is clearly a long term structure here rather than a small game that I finish quickly. I also appreciate that the current version is available on Windows as well as mobile platforms. Overall, I think Paradise Island 2: Hotel Game is a solid casual hotel management game that does exactly what I expect from this kind of experience. Building up the island, unlocking new hotels and adding attractions is enjoyable, and there is plenty of content to keep me coming back. The monetization and slower progression are what hold it back for me, because I think the game would be much more satisfying if I could focus entirely on building without feeling pushed towards speeding things up. Even so, the relaxing island setting and large selection of buildings make this an enjoyable time management game for me. Rating: 7.3/10
Werbung, Werbung, Werbung. Ständig kommt ein Pop Up Fenster: hey, willst du X kaufen? Fazit: Als Arbeitsloser ok. Als Arbeitender keine Empfehlung. Außer man will/ist bereit Unmengen an Geld rein zu stecken.
