Papertris

Just want to apologise first if I come off as harsh, but I'd thought I would drop a review For some background in this review: I do enjoy Tetris, in fact I make it a point to play TetrisxPuyo with everyone who visits my house. I might be a bit competitive in that regard Now for the review part: + I do like the aesthetic, it's cute and all, especially with what's going on with the sides of the screen - Controls? There's instructions on how to play, but playing on a keyboard, aside from the obvious (using arrow keys) I don't know if there was any other buttons I could press, like rotation for example. I didn't even know how to pause the game until I accidentally clicked the space bar. Maybe have the controls on the screen as the game is going or something - The levels are uninteresting. My experience is probably hindered that I might be missing controls, but there isn't really anything going. Just break X cubes of a color, but given the fact I don't know how to rotate the cubes or substitute (if I can do that in the first place), meant it was just a waiting game, waiting for the right set of cubes to come my way. On this note, some levels don't even show me which cubes to break - The powerup (?) cubes are confusing. While the exploding ones are straight forward, the arrow cubes feel random and deceiving. For example, I thought the down arrow cube would either match whats below it or yeet everything below, but more than half the time, it just yeets itself and I get confused. - For me, the game is slow. Again I don't know if there is a button to instantly zip down the cubes like in Tetris, but it's the one thing discouraging me from playing Endless Mode I feel like if at least the controls and speed issues are addressed, it might be a good game, but for now it's very hard to recommend, and would be hard to convince a friend to play multiplayer Hopefully issues with the game get addressed because I can definitely see this working!
