Since this game came out, it has been and still is my favorite game on Steam. It is truly special in how well it ties together every aspect of its gameplay, story, and sound design. The atmosphere is perfectly honed and the game doesn't overstay its welcome at all. I love how the game incorporates tiny moments of humor that really humanizes its characters that are trying to cope with living in an unprecedented and chaotic time. You can't help but become invested in each storyline that's presented before you, but if you become too attached, you become worse at your job and your family suffers. The game feels so real, but at the same time, never forgets that it's a game. It will enthrall, sadden, incense, and ultimately give you a better understanding of what's important to you by simply and quietly presenting you with choices. A brilliant experience, through and through.

[spoiler] 早期看某主播玩过但实况没更完，自己上手打真是眼前逐渐模糊…但一周目就饿了就冷着、冷了就饿着，匍匐前行着打出了HE（是不是TE也无法知道了）。 打了一半都对剧情都没有什么太大的实感，毕竟玩法在那里，已经够好玩了，一边打一边嘴别人一边骂领导，最后两天老头还是给人干性情了……带着一家子来到他国，回想起自己做边检员的时候，会对着申请理由疑惑“这么个破地方你们也要移民过来吗？”。但当北国的边检员一次次落下印章，咔嚓、咔嚓……还是会紧张他到底有没有给我们全家通过。 阿什托茨卡尤其反乌托邦没错，但每个地方都有每个地方的问题，口号常响在喇叭与人心中，但是，忙前跑后来到边检站的人们，都是怀抱着对新生活的希望和走投无路的绝望将护照递上去——而审判方也只是人类，能思考，能宽容，能因为你们是一大家子人而全部一起盖掉；这种人性中的对生命的期待，对与爱人、亲人、朋友重逢的渴望太动人了。打到这个结局真的似乎有些触动jpg。想来打游戏中途对EZIC“你们这能成事吗”“你这我不能给你过呀”云云的心态，作为一个普通人太过沉浸，以至于能够理解这种以小见大的叙事。想要去相信新阿什托茨卡的热浪，想要去相信过路人提起的、北国的雪。 [/spoiler]
