We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.

A high-quality anti-gravity racer akin to Wipeout! Really enjoy the progression, customization and career content. Worth full price.
If you loved wipeout in ps1 era. Youre in a treat for this too 😉
As with any game made in Unreal Engine, sometimes menu navigation just stops working with a gamepad, so you have to switch to keyboard / mouse and spam buttons until it works again. Pros: - The handling and tracks are good enough and I have fun playing - Good ship designs (not a fan of the Hats tho, but I don't need to add them to my ship) - Soundtrack is made by CoLD SToRAGE? Damn! Nostalgia! Cons: - Unnecessarily complex / obtuse / buggy menus (I blame UE4 Widgets, they are hell to work with) - Game Mode Storm: it's really hard to see as the track gets blurry and wobbly. - Game Mode Thread The Needle: it's too damn hard to see mines, they blend into the rest of the track. - Need to wait for AI opponents to finish some races...... else you are disqualified (Time Attacks) - Only 2 Camera angles (I want cockpit!) Verdict: It's definitely fun, alas somewhat frustrating at times.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 14: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Great game, by the same team that did the Wipeout seris...
It's a fun racing game, nothing much against it. Wish there was more livery customization. But overall amazing game. If you like Ballistic NG or F-Zero, You'll love this one! Also, I am certain they are suing AI art for the Stream stickers, so that's a big thumbs down.
I was on the hunt for a game to satisfy my Wipeout cravings and stumbled upon Pacer. The tracks are exhilarating, and the tight controls make every twist and turn a thrill. As you progress to higher difficulty levels, the pace becomes blisteringly fast, demanding quick reflexes and rewarding precision. The soundtrack is fantastic, perfectly complementing the high-speed action. The combat mechanics are engaging and add an extra layer of excitement to the races. The game does a commendable job of easing players into its mechanics, gradually ramping up the difficulty for a smooth learning curve. It's noteworthy that some of the original Wipeout developers contributed to Pacer. The game began as a spiritual successor to the Wipeout series, with early R8 Games staff having worked on Wipeout 3 for Psygnosis Leeds. This connection is evident in the game's design and feel. While there are areas where the game could use a bit more polish, particularly in the audio department, it's a solid title that I'd recommend. Fans of Wipeout or anti-gravity racers will find much to enjoy here.
Wicked!
Nice ultrawide experience. Will try in VR. Cheap and great for fans of the genre.
picture the scene: you've paid full price for this game and embark upon career mode for some inexplicable reason, game devs think that players of racing games want to be forced to play through several different types of event; get stuck on the "shield survival" event in a series? tough, you can't progress. hate "eliminator events"? tough, you can't progress. okay, let's try "quick race" mode. what's that? you need to earn credits to unlock tracks? you're making me work just to play the game i have PAID FOR? sir, you realise this is supposed to be a racing game? yes, i know everyone does it, but is it necessary? what's wrong with letting players just try to get gold on every track at every class (in each event type), unlocking a perk or two when you do? it worked well enough in 2097 and wip3out, didn't it? what's the obsession with *enforced variety*? it's infuriating. infuriating enough that i quit the game to write this review. it's doubly infuriating because the races themselves *are* enjoyable: the pacing's good, the graphics are basically what you'd hope for, the sound's solid (the airbrakes are a very nice touch), and the physics feel comfortable and responsive—you can barrel your way through a slalom section at pace with just a couple of slight twitches (that said the line between a successful and failed wall-slide feels paper-thin at first blush); the handful of tracks i have raced through so far seem really nicely designed i haven't raced enough to really judge the weaponry; forcing you to name and save specific configurations of ships when you have literally no choice about what those configurations must be feels bizarre and pointless; having both health and shield in a game like this seems weird, and having a separate "KERS boost" bar on top is just… why? what was wrong with the wip3out approach—you have shield, which can be replenished, when it's gone the race is over, and boosting burns through it—Pacer's take on it smacks of being different for the sake of it, rather than because it's a meaningful improvement on the state of the art as it was twenty years ago would i recommend it? there's no button "yes, but…"
