Overwatch®, A FUTURE WORTH FIGHTING FOR! Overwatch® is an always-on and ever-evolving free-to-play, team-based action game set in an optimistic future, where every match is the ultimate 5v5 or 6v6 battlefield brawl.
Revenue comes from in-game items and microtransactions, which our price-based model doesn't estimate. The player count below is how many people own it, not what they spent.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.

The content on the hub is more enjoyable then the actuall game.
ive had more fun rubbing my balls on a cactus while covered in feces than playing this game
ableist and racist game made by the devil himself
You think Overwatch is bad? Okay, but **why?** Is it because you die constantly? Do you think the game is unbalanced? Is it because the enemy team is using the META? Before you blame the entire game, ask yourself one question: **Are you actually adapting to the game, or are you playing the exact same way over and over again and expecting it to work?** If you're constantly dying, that doesn't automatically mean the game is bad. **Look at how you're dying.** Are you taking fights you're not supposed to take? Are you out of position? Are you pushing without your team? Are you wasting your cooldowns? Are you repeatedly challenging the same enemy who is clearly countering you? Because if you're running into the enemy team alone while your supports are halfway across the map, that's not the game's fault. **You're feeding.** And then there's the whole "the game is unbalanced" argument. Sure, Overwatch has balance problems. Every competitive game does. There are going to be heroes that are stronger than others, compositions that work better, and situations where certain heroes are clearly better picks. But there's a massive difference between **"this hero needs balancing"** and **"I keep losing, therefore the game is unbalanced."** If you're getting destroyed every game and refusing to change what you're doing, you can't exactly blame the game for that. Same thing with the META argument. **Yes, people are going to use META heroes.** That's how competitive games work. If something is strong, people are going to use it. Your response shouldn't be to repeatedly run the same strategy into it and then complain that it's unfair. Your response should be to **adapt.** That's one of the biggest parts of Overwatch: you're not supposed to lock yourself into one way of playing and stubbornly do it regardless of what's happening around you. If the enemy is countering you, change your approach. If you're getting destroyed at close range, stop taking unnecessary close-range fights. If you're constantly getting picked off, stop standing in the open. If your team isn't with you, **stop pushing alone.** And for the love of God, **stop trying to play Hanzo like he has the health pool of a tank.** You aren't supposed to run directly into the enemy team, absorb everything they throw at you, and somehow survive because you picked a damage hero. Your supports can't magically keep you alive through terrible positioning, and they aren't responsible for saving you from every stupid decision you make. **Your supports being behind you doesn't mean they're bad supports. Sometimes you're simply too far ahead.** This is a team-based game. Positioning, timing, communication, target priority, cooldown management, team composition, and adapting to the enemy all matter. You can't ignore half of those things, repeatedly die because of it, and then decide the entire game is garbage. And I'm not saying Overwatch is perfect. It isn't. There are absolutely legitimate criticisms you can make about its balance, matchmaking, hero design, maps, metas, and gameplay decisions. **Those are valid criticisms.** But "I keep dying," "the enemy is using META," and "I refuse to change how I play" aren't automatically arguments that the game is bad. Sometimes the problem isn't the game. Sometimes you're just playing badly. And instead of immediately blaming the game, try asking yourself: "What am I doing that is making this harder for myself?" Because if you can actually answer that question and adjust your gameplay accordingly, you'll probably find that the game isn't nearly as impossible as you thought it was.
I've never been exposed to Scaphism, but I imagine that playing this game is kinda the same.

SPIELT. NICHT. TANK.
