No remarkable journey is achieved without great effort. In Outward, the cold of the night or an infected wound can be as dangerous as a predator lurking in the dark. Explore the vast world of Aurai solo or in Co-op. The Definitive Edition features both DLCs and quality of life improvements.

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.57/day in the week to Jul 30 → 4.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
this game is fun if you like having your balls stomped on over and over again, so yeah it's pretty fun
This game is unfortunately underrated. I think many players are turned away by the front-loaded difficulty and learning curve. Grab a friend (or multiple via modding) and jump in together. If you can stick to it for a few hours, it will start to click. The combat, the skill system, the itemization, and the world overall are all unique and interesting. The character creator is pretty bad, but it's still kind of charming, and by my experience with the beta, it is greatly improved in Outward 2.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 18: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

I enjoyed the game and found it fun but its not for everyone due to the mechanics being very unforgiving and tedious at times. it is a very unique survival rpg experience and even though it still has some issues which probably wont get fixed since outward 2 is being developed its still worth it if you have what it takes to actually get into the game instead of ragequitting after 3 hours like i did my first time playing.
Incredibly frustrating gameplay, cities were designed by my neighbor's toddler, winter is literally "let's paint the grass white and have it still wave in the wind." F for effort. Yet the game still has some charm and I'm not ready to quit just yet. I will however, give it a break after going two weeks (in-game) without dying only to have the game glitch while fighting hyenas and suddenly not being able to block. Oh and, just let the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ player die. It's completely immersion-breaking when I get dragged to a hyena lair, only to wake up in a cave where another hyena just keeps knocking me out and putting me back in the corner. Or getting taken by slavers who don't tie me up or take my stuff, then just let me walk right back out. Also, I've seen plenty of reviews comparing this to Dark Souls. ♥♥♥♥♥, please. Dark Souls is tight, controls and hit-box wise. Hitting the attack button in Dark Souls doesn't make my character spin to the side and suddenly target the guy who's out of range, exposing my back to the enemy I had targeted. Oh, I gotta add: I was really excited about the temperature and shelter mechanic until I learned it basically means you get to walk for two minutes, then build a camp and wait for three. So fun. Seriously, the areas are just way too small for the lack of shelter to ever really become a problem, so it feels like they sped up how quickly your character gets cold to make it relevant. So annoying. Also the fact that one day I slept for three hours and suddenly it was winter.
560円で買った。ラッキーw やり始めから雑魚が強いと思いきや回避できるし盾も装備できるし、回復ポーションやテントまで張れて焚火でキャンプたのしい~ 敵は数匹に囲まれれば狭い通路まで行き順番に撃破 盾あればすべて防げるし敵の攻撃モーションを読んで倒していくのはダクソまでいかないがそれなりに楽しくなってると思う。採取して装備強化、鍛冶屋に売ってるレシピから採取や動物から取れば強い装備ができる。 スキルとって好きな職を遊ぶゲーム。スキルは村にいる教官に教えてもらえば覚えることができる。魔法専門職、魔法剣士、召喚職、罠師・・強い所取りのハイブリッドも面白い。3500時間もやってる人はこの仕様が刺さってるのかな。レベル概念なし強さはアクティブ、バシップスキルとプレイヤースキルと装備のみ 思い付きで古いversionで遊んだりすると古いデータが残り起動しなかったり、UIが消えたりするので、古いデータは消し最新バージョンで遊ぶことと、セーブデータは自分で管理して遊んだりするゲームなのでバックアップをここぞという時はとっていいと思う。倒れて拘束されるとお金や貴重品が略奪されることがある。こういう仕様は他のゲームでない楽しい仕様になっている。^^;
Game was hard to learn and a little rough around the edges at first. Once you learn the game it really opens up. You have to fail to learn though. My first playthrough I lost my home and got stuck in a death loop in the marsh not understanding how to survive. After a few attempts it clicked. Crafting is important, inventory management is important, finding a combat build you like and can succeed with is important, and adapting to challenges as they come up is very important. If you like games where dying has no stakes then this is not the game for you, you can lose time, gear and even end up trapped from some death screens. You even have a chance at permadeath with hardcore characters, but that adds to the fun. When you make it to the end of your journey and you're fighting multiple enemies on even ground, it feels amazing no longer being a scared weakling but a strong force of the world. The main quests besides like two of them of them are not time based so you can just throw yourself at the world at your leisure. Just beware winter will come and wreck you if you're not prepared for it. My favorite faction to side with is the Heroic Kingdom and I love going pistol and mace for combat. There's a lot of negativity in these reviews from people not getting it. Calling this game tedious is completely missing the point. It's literally a game called outward, you prepare to explore, then explore a world with many cool set pieces and secrets to find. 200+ hours in and I'm still finding new stuff with every playthrough. This game has had a special place in my heart for many years and I look forward to the sequel next year.
Preferi pedir reembolso logo.
This game is my escape world. After hours of work, I just enjoy a supposedly an hour play looting every ornate chest in Chersonese before I go to Emmerkar Forest and do the same. Until I realized 4 hours already past meddling to random encounters, going back and forth to sell loot, picking up Gaberries and making Tartines, mining ores until my pickaxe broke, fishing until my harpoon broke, picking up Blue sand at midnight, enjoy strolling in Conflux mountain with purple grass, swinging my Manticore Greatmace and see Bandits fly after hit by Juggernaut, making Horror Weapons and selling them to Levant merchants, listening to relaxing background music, then I go to Harmattan to farm some elemental particles..There goes my supposedly 1-hr play, finished about 6 hrs.. until I feel sleepy. :-D This game is my total immersion for me.
I fit within the exact niche this game was made for, but I can't recommend it. The combat feels so unpleasant that it comes across as disrespectful, and from what I experimented with there's just not any sort of depth to it. Combine that with how the game doesn't appear to value your time at all and it's one of the few games of this niche that I just genuinely don't want to put more time into. Which is a shame, because there's clearly so much there that I want to try out, but the execution is so terribly lacking.
