It's a generic mobile gacha game, a very oversaturated genre. What stands out is that it has the most generous drop rate out of every gacha game I've ever played (mostly because the game gives out so many of the summoning materials for free right from the start). Also, the jiggle physics are great.
Doesn't feel like your choices matter at all, if you don't have stats high enough, you'll lose. The early gameplay experience is incredibly boring and I just couldn't go on.

I have multiple reason why I like this game. None of those have to do with the gameplay or story.
Been playing Outerplane since day 1 launch back in 2023. Still the most based gacha three years later. Also leader of Heavenly, the rank 1 global guild. Join us if you're going hard and MAKE HEAVENLY GREAT !
play this on mobile, now on steam, same boring idle auto battler, confusing leveling, too grindy...we have better gacha on steam now, this seems too old now.
1단 멸망의 섬을 돌아 2제 정밀 제작을 해
This is the most amazing game steam has for me right now. I love it
Jogo este game há anos e recomendo demais. bons gráficos, boas personagens. Pra quem curti RPG de turnos, é um prato cheio. Dê uma chance, você vai gostar ^^
OUTERPLANE is a character-driven turn-based RPG that blends an isekai fantasy storyline with strategic party combat and elaborate anime-style presentation. Developed and published by MAJOR9, it follows K, an Earthling who finds himself transported to Mirsha, a world filled with magic, unusual technology, dangerous enemies, and characters pursuing their own ambitions. Rather than presenting its protagonist as a conventional chosen hero, the story initially revolves around betrayal and revenge, giving the adventure a somewhat darker motivation beneath its colorful appearance. Combat revolves around assembling a capable team and understanding how individual character abilities work together. Battles follow a turn-based structure, allowing players to consider targets, ability timing, team roles, and the order in which powerful skills should be deployed. The Burst system adds another tactical element by allowing certain abilities to become more effective under the appropriate circumstances. Skill chains further encourage players to think about party synergy rather than treating every character as an independent damage dealer. The visual presentation is among the game's most immediately noticeable strengths. Characters are represented through detailed 3D anime models, with major abilities accompanied by energetic animations, dramatic camera angles, and effects that can make important attacks resemble miniature animated sequences. This gives battles a strong sense of spectacle even when the underlying mechanics remain firmly turn based. Character designs cover a broad range of fantasy and science-fiction influences, helping the roster feel varied despite sharing a consistent anime aesthetic. There is also considerably more emphasis on narrative than players might expect from a character-collection RPG. The main campaign explores K's journey through Mirsha alongside Eva and an expanding group of allies and rivals. Individual character stories provide additional context for members of the roster, allowing personalities and motivations to develop beyond their usefulness during combat. Players who enjoy reading dialogue and learning about fictional worlds should find plenty of material, although those primarily interested in battles may occasionally find the storytelling extensive. Progression centers heavily on acquiring characters, improving their capabilities, and constructing teams that can handle different challenges. Experimenting with combinations becomes increasingly important because a powerful individual character does not automatically guarantee an effective party. Roles, abilities, elemental considerations, and complementary skills can influence performance. This provides a satisfying optimization element for players who enjoy gradually developing a roster and adjusting strategies when straightforward offensive power is insufficient. Beyond the main adventure, the inclusion of both PvE and competitive PvP content gives developed characters additional purposes. PvE activities provide opportunities to strengthen teams and tackle progressively demanding encounters, while PvP encourages more careful consideration of team composition and interactions between abilities. Competitive play naturally places greater emphasis on optimization, so players interested only in the narrative can concentrate primarily on the solo-oriented portions without needing to make PvP their central objective. The free-to-play structure is likely to be the most divisive aspect. OUTERPLANE includes optional purchases and chance-based acquisition mechanics, meaning the experience carries many of the progression conventions associated with collectible character RPGs. Players who enjoy building a roster over an extended period may appreciate the constant stream of development goals, while anyone who prefers purchasing a complete RPG and progressing without monetized collection systems may find the structure less appealing. The game also contains suggestive imagery, partial nudity, and mature implications within some of its character-oriented material. Steam Deck compatibility requires some qualification. OUTERPLANE does not currently have an official Steam Deck Verified or Playable classification displayed as a confirmed compatibility rating. As a result, it should be considered officially unverified for Steam Deck rather than guaranteed to provide a fully optimized handheld experience. Players may potentially encounter issues involving controls, interface readability, online functionality, launcher behavior, or other compatibility factors. Anyone specifically intending to play exclusively on Steam Deck should therefore approach it with the understanding that official compatibility assurance is presently absent. As an overall package, OUTERPLANE succeeds most strongly when its tactical mechanics and flashy presentation work together. Battles are visually entertaining without completely abandoning strategic decision-making, while character development provides a persistent reason to experiment with new formations. Its substantial narrative and character stories also make the world feel more developed than a simple sequence of combat stages. At the same time, the large amount of progression content and character management means it is better suited to players who enjoy long-term roster development than those looking for a short, tightly contained RPG campaign. The result is an attractive and content-heavy anime strategy RPG with enjoyable turn-based mechanics, impressive skill animations, extensive storytelling, and plenty of opportunities for party experimentation. Its monetization model and lack of confirmed Steam Deck certification are meaningful considerations, but players comfortable with free-to-play character collection can find a substantial tactical adventure beneath those systems. Rating: 7/10
I've played this game since release, but I'm starting again recently since so much has changed (Never spent any money so idc really) The game has changed a lot since I returned. It seems to have gone the route of gooner anime style very hard. More so than it was when it first released. I don't mind. I am fine with that, but it was pretty shocking when I returned after a while away. (Haven't played since some time last year) The game gives away a lot of stuff right away, it even gave me 1000 summoning tickets, so I almost have every current character in the game thanks to the triple character selector banner that you can swap out characters you earned already for even more to win. Game play is still the same and it looks great on PC. I don't have to play on google play games anymore which is a plus. I can finally play with anti aliasing on and not have a black screen during combat. Forcing me to turn it off, and look at jagged edges on my character models. It looks crisp and high quality now. JPG art work is low resolution though which looks out of place with such high quality models. But it's a small thing. Also the devs can't decide whether to cater to ultrawide monitors or not. Some screens fill the full space of my ultrawide, while other sections of the game squash the aspect ratio to having the black bars on the side of my screen. It's a bit jarring at first. Wish they would just make the whole game ultrawide friendly. A bit weird ngl. Overall it's a good game. Generous in the early stages, and if you like well endowed anime girls, you will find plenty here. IDK why this game is under the sexual content umbrella though since there is no lewd H scenes or anything. It's just a gacha gooner game but nothing explicit. Give it a chance, it's pretty fun. And of course, it's free!
