Not a bad Gacha RPG. Easy to progress as F2P, has good humor, mechanics are easy to understand.
Staring up to get the exclusive gooner backgrounds suck. But besides that, fun game I enjoying briefly logging in daily for. Anime rpg turned based. Fairly simple gaining BP, but can be complicated if min maxing units. You will be utilizing more then one team of four for different battles, so do be ready for that. After the 'new player period'/achievements, diamond gain is super slow, so spend the ones you get wisely. Other resources are generous though if you log in daily to obtain. You can tell the game wasn't always walking the road of gooner, and some time through, there was a bigger spot light that way in terms of visual design and rewards(star up for some units to obtain exclusive backgrounds). I'm all for it, and interested to see the route this game goes. I'm picky with my gacha's, but once I love one, I'm here to stay. This one however, I don't see a big point in buying character outfits aside for oogling them. While characters do have special click animations on the home background, not all of them are lewd or suggestive. Some have 'bond' interactions near the chat button(seems to still be building the roaster of who actually has this feature). Though, while you do get a close up, the animation are extreamly lack luster with a mere fov screen shake and pretty effects. After the screen shake, you do get a cute little animation that last three seconds. Not very goon.. Now, the exclusive backgrounds. From what I seen, these are locked behind needing many variations of the same character. Five I believe. Up until a recent update, the chances were not in the users odds without spending an absurd amount of diamonds the game doesn't proivde casual. Or getting very lucky.. Moving forward, there is a pity system on top of a pity system. After 100, you will get a unit. This is where it ends for the 'demiurge' units. After for the demiurge units, you will only have regular pity pulls through millage(200 pulls total for one of your choice). For other units, the pity are two 100 pulls guaranteed before the regular 200 millage pity pulls. If you pull before a pity, that counts as a unit, so do note. No matter what, you will gain millage(as long as you are using the correct currency). Getting lucky was ***really*** in your favor prior to, but after this change, the cost of pulling one unit has been cheapened, but still expensive if your luck is absent. *Ahem* Even then, I still do recommend this game. Starting out, the rewards are EXTREMELY generous(1000+ pulls for normal cast). Beyond the gacha, the game is fun to revisit daily. If you are here for the goons, I can hardly recommend because the game seems like a lewd frustrating tease at the best for those who are true gooners. The little meat that's there isn't utilized for that audience extremely well. Overall though, Would recommend to try out.

Feel like a copy-and-paste from phone app to PC. No adjustable resolution and settings all the same on mobile. The game will automatically match your monitor's resolution in windowed mode but you need to press ALT + ENTER to go fullscreen. No in-game V-sync settings for those who have a 60hz monitor and don't like to see screen tearing. Graphic wise, it's a ported 3D mobile game so don't expect to be amazed by the model quality or assets There is a good main story but you will get bogged by but mildly interesting offshoot event stories and events reruns that do not match main story nor fit anywhere and are treated as different universes. Actual story with main protagonist K the game advertises on the Steam page has been on hiatus since its last update on February 2026. You also get another story with a different cast of characters that you will question and get confused how they got together but requires doing additional content to understand. The "newer" story is meant to be separated from but somewhat connect main story but requires knowing it to get though it. The story renewal is awkward because they retrofitted the main character's base to fit the second story, but some of the renewed assets based on the second story will show up in the original story's beginning 3D cutscenes. The "renewed" base also rely on parts shown from the original story which doesn't make any sense why they appear in the second story. For returning Outerplane veterans, who are used to the original main story, may have to access the second story's opening cutscenes through the Codex. The new players or those restarting on a different server will access the new story and opening scene by default. Gacha is simple and very F2P friendly, like 1,500 Ether for 10x pulls. You also have purple tickets to pull for new rate up character or standard. There is two other gacha systems which one use orange tickets for seasonal and collabs characters and another using a different currency for demiurges but is more expensive than standard and seasonal. All newer characters will be female because this is also "waifu collecting game" For combat, it's the standard turn-based system where you make a team of four units and elements are the classic RGBYP. Some bosses have specific mechanics that you must carefully choose the best team to beat them. There's Arena but you will get bogged by overpowered and unbalanced units. There's also Real-Time Arena which limit the characters you can but it's more balanced. You can sweep several activities which helps lower the time needed to do dailies and weeklies and needed to play the game during the day. Would I recommended to gacha players who like story and lore? No. The actual direction was there since the original release with adequate lore and worldbuilding for an isekai story, it's just not there anymore. Like I mentioned, the event stories and sometimes side stories are there for funsies and do not connect to the overall story except as "alternate worldlines." There are two main stories each with a different main character but the quality of the story may vary on whose main character and their story you prefer. Would I recommended to fellow waifu collectors? Maybe not if you looking for substance, because the girls are just there to look which at baseline is okay. You can read and play any story starring them but you won't feel like having a connection to the girls as both the player and what main character you prefer to be. There's no immense interaction players can have with them that central with actual story beside giving gifts to increase bond level and unlocking voicelines. Would I recommended to gacha addicts who wants another gacha to their collections? No, but they are welcome to try it out still.
**I want to thank you for giving me your precious time reading this review. Without further ado, lets get to it!** Outerplane in simplest terms is a standard Strategy RPG gacha game with content ranging from simplistic to complex difficulty. I have been playing the game since 1.5 anniversary during the summer. Outerplane is F2P friendly, and the developer team respect the players and engages with them from online to offline events on the state of the game ranging from entertainment to serious topics . Gameplay: The gameplay can range from easy to extreme difficulty. The early game teaches the basic fundamental on how it works. As the player progresses into the late game, strategy become key and becomes apparent. Luckily Outerplane excel on making the game difficult while allowing F2P players able to participate the more difficult content with the appropriate strategies. There is a guild system in Outerplane for other players to join forces for content exclusively for the system. From my personal experience players create guild for social, mentorship, and competitive purposes. Performance: When playing Outerplane on an Android, the game stability is well programmed. It runs smooth as butter and did not drop FPS. Although the game does take some memory to download, the software developers program the game where it runs smoothly without compromising the integrity of the game. As a developer, it takes time to execute those criteria and I am proud they pour their love to the game. Their are moments where the game can have bugs. For example, certain characters may not run as intended. However, they fix the bug on the spot and resolve the issues the game is having. Story: I will not go into detail and spoil the story for those who want to read the lore for themselves. However, the narrative of the game is enjoyable personally. Each to their own taste. Visual: Outerplane is an anime base art style with beautiful saturation of color choices for the theme of the game. The effects are well thought-out when designing the characters. It is apparent the artist are allowed to use their freedom of choices when designing characters. Audio: Their is not too much to say about the sound overall. The BGM fits well with the theme of the game. Hopefully in the future they add more BGM as there are some moments in the game one wishes their is more. The SFX is great without going over the top and straight to the point, something I personally appreciate about Outerplane. Replayability: Outerplane plays the standard daily loops, not surprising like every gacha game ever. Outside of dailies, players can expect high difficulty content to test their limits. Every few weeks there is content in the game where players can take their time and prep for these endgame content. Microtransaction: As a F2P player, the game can be played without spending a penny or a nickel without being behind. The character banners have a decent rate. Some might ask why its F2P friendly when the rates are just basical rate. The reason is because most characters can be obtained as the player play the game, similar to some well-known gacha games. The only banners in Outerplane that is either more difficult or cannot be obtain from playing the game by default are premium, limited, and collaboration characters. Outerplane is a game I have stick with for a long time. It have a friendly community on the official Discord Server at the time I am writing this review. Players welling to assist if it is within their power to help newcomers, returning players, and veterans alike. It is a game I suggest to give a try if any potential players are still considering and tempting to play. Amazing gacha game to pick up on and enjoy both casually and competitively. As a final note, Outerplane have been one of the few gacha games where it respects two of the biggest constraints everyone have in common on a global scale, time and money. I hope to see new players enjoy the game as I have, and again, thank you for your time reading this review fellow Masters **For the developer reading this steam review, I will love to share my personal experience so far on the Steam client version of Outerplane. The Steam client works better than the google play beta client. No random black screen and FPS is running a lot better than it and the Android version. As some have mention, it will be a great addition to add preset and custom resolution for both full screen and windowed mode. When I went Full screen using alt + enter, it is surprising it actually fits 5120x1440 resolution. However, there are moments in the client when using alt + enter to go back to window move, the client resolution compresses the game. A quick and temporary solution is to go back to full screen and when entering the loading screen, press the alt + enter key to fix it back to normal. Looking forward to potential fix after tackling the more dire bugs the steam client version may have. Keep up the awesome work and cheers to the developer team!**
I started this game near when it was first released on mobile, so I've seen it all... It was basically a PVE game where the (relatively) good writing and challenging turn based combat attracted players. Although it changed its marketing to be a gooner game, it still has kept its roots. Pros: Free player friendly; you can hit top ten player in PVE/PVP free. (It does take knowledge and optimization) Great origin story and decent humor. (the game even makes fun of itself at times) Most characters have unique abilities; team building and strategy is complex and interesting. Frequent quality of life updates; the developer and publisher listens to players. Designing good PVP teams and learning how to deal with other players teams is rewarding. Cons: End game is attempting to get higher damage numbers vs uber bosses or PVP. PVP ranking is just bad; the ranking is poorly implemented so only a fraction get listed rewards The game is progressing more and more into gooner territory.
um gacha interessante, já joguei no celular em 2024 mais não consegui logar minha conta tive que começar do 0, mas as animações são bonitas e as personagens interessantes.
Low quality, spam you with cartoon boobs and buy now fomo menus. Gameplay is boring animations are horrible, even the way they run in missions looks stupid.
This is just boobs and ads.
What keeps me here after all this time: Genuinely F2P-friendly. Not in the marketing sense. Getting new characters is easy without spending — you don't need to save for three months to have a shot at a banner. The game is more generous here than almost anything else in the genre. Content that lasts. Several competitive PvE modes, PvP, and RTA. That's the difference between a gacha you drop after three weeks and one where you still have goals six months in. The port runs well. Tested on Windows and Fedora with no notable issues on either. I haven't tried other distros. Cross-save with mobile works, so your progress carries over. The flaws, plainly: The roster is almost entirely female. If you want variety in the cast, it isn't here. It's a deliberate direction, but worth knowing before you install. No keyboard and mouse support. The interface is still built for touch. It's playable with the mouse alone, but don't expect hotkeys or proper PC ergonomics. English, Korean, Japanese and Chinese only. Voice acting in English, Japanese or Korean. Not an issue for most, but no other localisations for now — the devs have mentioned plans to add more languages, though there's no timeline yet. Verdict: recommended if you want a gacha where progress doesn't depend on your wallet and the competitive endgame actually exists. Skip it if the cast or the touch-based interface puts you off.
