Oscuro Blossom's Glow

It's cute, it's fun...Very middle of the road. This game won't be making any top lists, but the art is a fun and interesting style that captured and kept my attention. Some of the deaths felt obnoxious and unfair rather than challenging. Easy enough, good puzzles, fun world, yeah. I don't feel that strongly about it in any way and honestly might completely forget about it in a week which is a shame considering the great art.

Oscuro Blossom’s Glow es una maravilla visual y sonora. Cada escenario parece una pintura en movimiento, con un juego de luces y sombras que hipnotiza. La banda sonora acompaña a la perfección, creando una atmósfera tranquila y mágica que te envuelve desde el primer minuto. Las mecánicas de absorber y emitir luz son simples pero muy satisfactorias, y los puzles fluyen de forma natural sin romper el ritmo. Es de esos juegos que te relajan mientras te sorprenden con su belleza. ✨ Visualmente precioso, musicalmente envolvente y jugablemente encantador. Una joya indie que tienes que jugar.

Gorgeous game, compelling art direction. While the art is beautiful and the sound design nice, I found the platforming oddly difficult due to needing well-timed jumps, perfectly placed props, as well as the unintuitive checkpoint placement (such as having to walk back to previous rooms to pick up light again on death). There were a few puzzles in world 2, including the second Oscuro encounter, that I had to redo entire segments of because of a softlock. There is also no way to disable controller rumble!

Normalerweise spiele ich Plattformer oder Jump ’n’ Run nicht so gerne, weil ich einfach schlecht darin bin. In dieses Spiel habe ich mich aber instant verliebt. ❤️ Zuerst wurde ich während des Summer Game Fests 2025 auf das Spiel aufmerksam und fand den Trailer aufrund des Grafikstils schon sehr ansprechend, sodass ich es mir kurzerhand direkt auf die Wishlist gesetzt habe. Nun habe ich es mir im Angebot gekauft und bin einfach nur begeistert. Visuell und von der Soundkulisse her ist "Oscuro Blossom's Glow" wirklich ein kleines Meisterwerk. Es beeindruckt mit liebevoll gestalteten Umgebungen, stimmiger musikalischer Untermalung und einem ausgewogenen Gameplay. Auch, wenn ich an einigen Rätseln etwas länger fest hing, so sind diese doch insgesamt sehr gut lösbar und die Jump ’n’ Run Elemente auch für Casual-Spieler (wie mich) ohne Frustration machbar. 🤸‍♀️ Mir steht noch das letzte Kapitel bevor, aber ich kann jetzt schon eindeutig sagen, dass mir dieses Spiel sehr gut gefällt und ich es nur wärmstens weiterempfehlen kann. Mit einer Spielzeit von 2-3 Stunden ist es relativ kurz, aber den Preis definitiv wert. Ich hoffe sehr, dass die Entwickler auch in Zukunft noch weitere Spiele dieser Art entwickeln werden. 🥰

Une belle petite expérience rapide remplie de poésie, avec un choix crucial à faire à la fin sans en dire davantage bien entendu :) Des passages quelquefois difficile mais pas non plus impossible, mais plusieurs tentatives pour y parvenir tout de même :) je le conseille :)
