I just finished my first playthrough and I got chills. I love how I read through data to get information and upload them to the database. I just felt bad to all those people I spy on. Definitely playing the other one, Ignorance is Strength. It is definitely fun for someone who likes data processing and stories that bears consequences for each choices. I might restart the original as well since I kind of want to know the other ending.

Very enjoyable! Definitely more of a story game than a detective game, but the UI is very intuitive and it's well written - even the padding details like advertisements in the margins of browser windows. There's a lot of intrigue right from the start and while some parts of the game where you're listening to a transcribed ph0one conversation or watching a text exchange in "real" time can be a bit slow, I appreciate that the game lets you tab out and look at other documents so you can come back and read the conversation in full once it's done, instead of holding your attention captive (I think there's a speed adjustment in the settings too if you prefer to watch the conversations as they happen). The soundtrack is also perfectly suited to the atmosphere.

Orwell mi è piaciuto. Se hai letto 1984, il gioco ti riserva diverse strizzate d'occhio piacevoli. Ho trovato molto ingegnoso il modo di tenere traccia delle informazioni. La storia mi ha preso. Posso dire di consigliarlo a giocatori a cui piace investigare, spulciare vari documenti e, soprattutto, leggere. L'unico piccolo appunto che devo fare è sulla traduzione. Una volta ho trovato un documento non tradotto (era in Indonesiano) nella mia lingua (Italiano) e ho riscontrato diversi errori di traduzione e scelte di traduzione troppo letterale. Mi sento di riportarlo solo perché se come me parli e leggi in inglese queste traduzioni letterali ti fanno storcere il naso. Però è l'unica cosa che ritengo di dover sottolineare e comunque non mi ha mai impedito di andare avanti con il gioco, ha solo vagamente influenzato l'immersione. Bel gioco, complimenti a chi ci ha lavorato.
