OPERATION SERPENS

There is nothing particularly wrong with Operation Serpens, but it's just boring to play for more than 30 minutes. If i didn't get it for free via Steam Curator Connect I would have refunded it by that time. There are tons of VR wave shooters and to stand out from that crowd the game needs to excel at something like atmosphere, gunplay or visuals. Operation Serpens excels at nothing and does just the bare minimum to be passable. Levels are boring and look like a shooting range: enemies come out of few predetermined spots and have almost no variety. That makes finishing even a single mission feel like a chore. Gunplay is decent and only lacks a controller feedback. Slo-mo on flashbang usage is a nice touch and is literally the only creative idea in the game. Visuals are a bit ugly but tolerable, while sounds are not good at all. Bullet sounds glitch constantly and sound very unconvincing overall.

It's not a bad game, could use some locomotion though. You're stuck to one position and reloading is just a button instead of any interaction with the magazine. It's more an arcade shooter then something else. It can be fun for a short while

Umgebungen sind abwechslungsreich, Zombie-Modus vorhanden. Ansonsten knallharte Action ohne Pause. Ich persönlich hab genug von stumpfer Ballerei, aber ansonsten funktioniert es ganz gut. as a free game (which it once was) i would've said sure, give it a go but as a paid game? Hell no. Not even on a sale my guy, unless it's going for like £1.99 and you're REALLY curious about it but even then i'd advise against it and tell you to just go buy a mars bar or something. It's just too boring.

I liked this. It's a little like an 80s / 90s arcade game. I had to give up on the second to last level though because of glitches & bugs.

This is a great fun arcade shooter. Bargain price of £5.79. Don't even question shall I buy or not, it's great fun with fun artwork and a great team behind the game. Just jump in have a blast and that's simple it. Pure blast away FUN!!! It's also available standalone on the Oculus Quest or use Airlink to play this version, I understand because of the simple fun art style they are exactly the same game..
