Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Sep 9 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

lots of fun and its kind of creepy playing on horror mode
Drawing your own map is easily my favorite feature of this game. The fishing mechanics are extremely simple, so it can get boring after some time, but creating the map has been keeping me busy.
i wouldn't recommend the game in its current state, but it has potential for sure. my biggest problem with it is that the meter for reeling in the fish is pixelated and tied to the hook/bait on your line, which makes it difficult to see when i should be reeling in vs not. i also dislike the map system. i can see why someone else would enjoy it, but having to plot the map myself is tedious

:3 fish game good
Not the traditional fishing game experience, but well worth the asking price. Wish the developer all the best in future endeavors.
Do you remember those great old pixelated, open-world, exploration hunting games? This captures that feel. For me it's wonderfully nostalgic, but it's still a great looking game and you can change the graphics between pixelated and smooth. The map is nicely sized, there's plenty of freedom to do what you like, and catching fish isn't the only thing you can do. I've been trying to find all of the insects for example. As strange as it is to say, Open Fishing XL has the single most realistic campfire cooking system I've seen in a game. It legit can teach you how to cook fish without burning it. I love it and I highly recommend it. Furthermore the dev is now also working on an Open Hunting XL game and I'm greatly looking forward to it, so consider joining the official discord.
Turns out good new fishing games aren't made anymore. Had to dig up this ol' ps1 banger to get my fix. Natsume could never.
This game is awesome. It has an easy to learn and fun fishing mechanic and the overall vibe of the game is calming and relaxing. I hope this game gets more recognition!

very fun to play. some kinks to work out for sure but it's definitely a good pass-time. big fan of the pixel textured graphics and jerma NPCs. only major gripe is that its really easy to accidentally pick up traps instead of collecting them, therefore losing everything in the trap. I guess its a "live & learn" thing but it'd be nice if there was more of an action difference than click vs. hold. that one bird started to get annoying so I muted the game sounds in my gamebar and put on lake mountain ambience from youtube + some music. great experience so far.
