In the first 40mins of this game, this game has already impressed me far more than almost any other game I've played. This game is something special and I would already highly recommend it. Update: Having now completed the game, I can safely say that was one of the most unique and best games I've ever played, Everything about this game is as close to perfection as it could be, the soundtrack, the dialogue, the puzzles, the art. If you are at all considering this game, buy it, you will not regret it.

OneShot is an amazing experience that everyone should go through. I won't say much, in order to avoid spoilers, but it has some Undertale vibes with less fights (none actually) and more puzzles. Speaking of the puzzles, most are pretty easy and I'm not sure if I should even call them puzzles, there is a decently difficult one and a few things (again, not sure if they fall into the puzzle category) which I definitely wouldn't have been able to do without internet assistance. Which is definitely a negative, but it's a negative far too small to outshine the awesome journey that is this game. Also, unlike Undertale, you can rebind your controls, which already makes it a million times better. The last thing I think I can say that should be interesting and spoiler-free is that OneShot manages to achieve immersion through completely out of the ordinary means, almost like a different take on immersion, if you will. Pretty cool soundtrack too, but the music that I really enjoyed was only in one area. Anyway, as I said, it's amazing, you should totally get and play it.

I am 45 years old. Probably one of the oldest people playing this game. I'm a single father. My son is 14 now. He got this game for Christmas a while back. By the end of the first week he'd already spent over 20 hours in it. I wasn't thrilled. We didn't spend much time together anymore, and I figured I'd lost another battle to the internet. So I made a Steam account and bought the game myself. I had no idea what I was doing. I wandered around, talked to everyone, got lost, and somehow still felt like I was going the right way. Eventually my son sat down beside me. He didn't spoil puzzles. He just watched. Every now and then he'd quietly say, "Try talking to them again," or, "Don't worry, you'll understand later." I don't think he was talking about the game. After we finished, we went for a walk. We hadn't done that in a long time. It's strange. This is a game about carrying a light through a broken world, but somehow it ended up bringing a little light back into ours. I know that's corny. Niko would probably just smile.

Es una linda experiencia en donde exploras junto al protagonista, es interesante el como en lugar de nosotros ser el protagonista, solamente lo guiamos a tomar decisiones y este sea consciente de nosotros y nos pida ayuda para tomar decisiones aun que a veces parezcan tontas. El juego es muy original con algunos acertijos y es divertido y relajante jugarlo, el protagonista es adorable y generalmente hace preguntas o comentarios igualmente adorables al ser solamente un niño pero tambien te deja algo triste el juego al saber que todos con los que interactúa el protagonista de forma directa o indirecta te dicen que aun que cumpla su objetivo el mundo va a morir. 10/10 vendan mas peluches de Niko y mas mercancía de el

an extremely creative game with a delightful story. also a very fun 100% experience despite the game’s insistence on playing it only once if you’re on a steam deck/linux, get the world machine edition. the original doesn’t work particularly well on linux systems apparently
