For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

sad
If you are thinking about playing this game, stop reading and go in completely blind. The less you know, the better your experience will be. It’s only about 4 hours long. That said, this review will remain entirely spoiler-free. The first thing I want to say is that I absolutely love the main character, Niko. OneShot does an amazing job of making you care for them, much more so than a lot of other games do. The reason this works so well is because you and Niko are completely separate people. Instead of you acting as a silent protagonist in the game, you have your own distinct role in the story, and Niko actually has conversations directly with YOU. It's completely different compared to almost every other story game where the player is just represented through the main character. Also, people often compare OneShot to Undertale since both are short, quirky, top-down indie RPGs with great stories and fourth-wall breaks. While I personally still prefer Undertale (even though I love both games), I can completely understand why someone might favor OneShot over it (especially for its fourth-wall elements, which I'll get to later). What i don't like about this comparison is that I feel like if you played Undertale and go into this game expecting something like Undertale, you'll be disappointed in many ways because they are vastly different for many reasons. OneShot has zero combat. There’s no attacking, no sparing, and no alternate routes based on moral decisions, meaning none of the things that I feel make Undertale what it is. I care more about the average NPC in Undertale than in OneShot. In Undertale, the literal lives of the characters are in your hands, so deciding whether to spare or murder them actually gives your choices story significance. But EVEN with that said, I still care about Niko more than any character in the entirety of Undertale. Another thing that I love about this game are the fourth-wall breaks. I can wholeheartedly say without a doubt that some of the ways this game breaks the fourth wall are the best, most creative ways I have ever seen in any piece of media ever, and you are a horrible person if you spoil them to someone else. Because I played the World Machine Edition on a Steam Deck, I can only imagine how much better these tricks feel when playing the original PC version. Now, I only have one gripe with this game, though it is a big one: this game can get annoyingly cryptic. Now, I will admit, this might completely just be me because I'm pretty buns at puzzles in video games sometimes, but i stg on multiple occasions you have to find obscure items and combine them in unintuitive ways to create a tool you need. In fact, I thought it got boring in some of the parts of my playthrough and I, on multiple occasions, crafted story-progression-necessary items and interacted with story-progression-necessary interactions COMPLETELY by accident, just because I was goofing around (but I will say, it's nothing compared to something like The Legend of Zelda NES if that was what you were thinking when I said cryptic). This brings the pacing to a screeching halt, and it's really the only reason I would hesitate before recommending the game. In fact, I will stand by the fact that these puzzles are EXACTLY what stretches the runtime to 4 hours, and that without them, I easily could have beaten the game in less than 3 hours and had a better experience overall. Again, I absolutely love this game overall, but i can't deny that it has one absolutely huge, glaring shortcoming.
yes
The game might be a little challenging at first, but give it a chance, it’ll definitely surprise you This game definitely gave me emotions I've never felt in any game before, once you finish it, you’ll understand exactly what I mean
