For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I only had... one shot
This is the single best way to play OneShot on Linux without any hassle. It is not the best way to play OneShot overall. It's kinda a sidegrade I think. Anyways, OneShot I feel like kinda misrepresents itself. It doesn't really have a one shot mechanic, it doesn't really have high stakes in the form of combat or action or anything of that sort. This is purely a puzzle game, and honestly I think this is a very relaxing game! The characters are simple (mostly), the story is simple, puzzles are simple, and the entire game is almost entirely linear, it's just overall sorta cozy. The World Machine Edition in particular has a weird vibe to it, it's like booting into Windows XP after all these years, it's empty, but familiar. It's a really nice tone shift, particularly if you have a really stressful day. Speaking of, the game is split into different sections, where you're forced to exit the game (you can come back if you want), which makes taking breaks very easy. Each section is about 30-60 minutes in length before you're forced to sleep in-game, and there are about 4 areas excluding the Solstice section. I really took my time completing this game, and even restarted a Solstice run, and still only got 9 hours in it. It really puts Undertale into perspective though, since Undertale despite being released a year later than the original OneShot, or a year earlier compared to the 2016 remake, has vastly better gameplay and story in my opinion. Undertale however, is more tense given the random fighting encounters, while OneShot doesn't really have any surprises or expectations of you, everything happens because you made it happen. Niko is the single best character in the entire game, and the character changes throughout the story are very smooth and well done. I absolutely LOVE this character! This person! Who is not a cat! Cats walk on all fours! Now why did I say "This is the single best way to play OneShot on Linux without any hassle"? Because OneShot (2016) doesn't work great on Linux. The Proton version doesn't do the necessary 4th wall breaks for certain puzzles, and the Linux native version requires several workarounds which in theory should make it work fine, but if you're using Steam through Flatpak then you're still screwed and need to look beforehand or know what the 4th wall breaks will be. The game does make it obvious when there is meant to be a 4th wall break anyways so it's possible to do a blind run while running Steam through Flatpak. Overall, great game, but it's very simplistic and relaxing. Undertale and Deltarune are significantly better for the story and gameplay, but OneShot is perfect for just unwinding. I don't think there's even a way to fail OneShot.
